ANOTHER OBAMA VOTER WITH BUYER'S REMORSE
THE FREEDOM POST ^ | January 24, 2010 | Matthew Burke

Posted on 01/24/2010 10:52:31 PM PST by TheFreedomPoster

Another Obama voter is coming clean, admitting their 'buyer's remorse'. A Real Clear Politics article by Jill Dorson, today, candidly reveals and expresses the disappointment, disillusion, and heartfelt regret felt for having voted for, and being suckered into, the Obama "euphoria" and "hope and change" rhetoric. As you'll see, she is not a Sarah Palin fan, suggesting that her supposed lack of intelligence kept her from voting for John McCain in 2008.

I'm always amazed and confused that someone would state that, yet not be turned off by Joe Biden's clear, documented buffoonery. Nevertheless, the article reeks of genuineness and sincerity. Here are the highlights (my bold for emphasis)...

Well, I suggest the letter writer read Sarah Palin’s book.

Because what she is looking for in reality is Sarah Palin. She is looking for someone to stand up and say with honesty and integrity, this is who I am, this is what I believe, this is how those beliefs will influence me. This is what I want to do, this is what I will do, and these are the things I won’t do and why.

The person who wrote this letter is looking for substance, and integrity. When you have someone who is filled with integrity and substance, you have someone who is going to do the best for the Nation and its people. For America, and Americans, that means LESS GOVERNMENT, so that WE, America, can shine. We just need Tyranny of ALL kinds to GET OUT OF OUR WAY, and Government IS tyranny.

With Integrity comes Freedom. Those who would reduce our freedom, HAVE NO INTEGRITY.

Horse manure.

Jill Dorson is a slippery pig who wrote this silly "buyer's remorse" column strictly as a sneaky excuse to bash a woman, Sarah Palin, who is everything she is not: attractive, smart, accomplished, and on the rise. It's amazing how many people fall for this.

I'm guessing that Burke is not as stupid as a brick so I have to conclude that he's just another sneaky scumbag.

and I’ll say it again, when the author put Sarah Palin on the same plane as 9-11, she shows this to be far more of a Palin Bash than just giving back the class ring to her Kenyan boyfriend.

Make no mistake. People who could not see through this fraud are not intelligent enough for senior management positions or other jobs of responsibility. They need to be isolated and kept from power and position so as to protect American organizations from further deterioration. Sorry, folks... it an IQ thing. If you voted for Obama... you are an idiot...

There are alot of people who got caught up in the hoopla and hopey changey nonsense.

Personally I am stunned on how that happens.

How could anyone look at Obama's history and see an experience that would qualify him for the job? Five years ago he was a back bencher in the IL state senate. He had no private industry experience and no understanding of economics. His associations were leftist, radical, and hate America. I found the hopey changey rhetoric to be empty and vaccuous. To date I have not been moved once by a single thing he has ever said. (Just to be fair, I actually understood how Klinton was a good communicator and could move people)

I dont get it and never did.

People who drank the Kool-Aid will take a while to get the taste out of their mouth. She knows now that Obama lied to her, but hasn’t yet figured out that ALL of the mainstream media made it all possible with partial lies, prejudicial coverage, and out and out fabrications. If these people ever really get the taste of the Kool-Aid out of their systems, watch out.

I am thinking the same thing. However, I do know that many people bought into the big lie put forth by the media. Now that they are out of a job, they are correcting that mistake just like in MA with the election of Scott Brown.

People that are smart and dirt dumb at the same time...

People that are educated...lawyers, MBA's, doctors, BA's..etc.

Too many are under educated in American / World History, and brain-washed in the language of HopeyChangey...

Doesn't matter 30 years ago or now...it's intoxicating.

His associations were leftist, radical, and hate America.

He got glowing endorsements from Warren Buffett and Colin Powell (not to mention Oprah Winfrey), so a lot of people felt that he must be safe. McCain never really pressed Obama on his associations. In fact, he expressly forbade the GOP from bringing it up.

A lot of people wanted to vote for the first black president. They thought that would show that they were good people and that America was a good place. But now the novelty has worn off, and people are starting to realize that the guy isn't worth a bucket of warm spit.

Exactly. I have a friend who has mostly voted Republican all his life, but because he is part Honduran and considers himself a “person of color” all he could think about was electing the first African American president. He did have a few serious second thoughts when Obama tried to sell Honduras down the river. At that point I, somewhat passionately, tried to tell him that he should have seen all this long before the election and he came back with “Well, there was no way I would have voted Republican with the idiot Sarah Palin on the ticket.” Sigh. So there is more kool aid to wear off with many of them still.

Yes, I have repeatedly and tediously told people for almost two years that Obama has NO REAL work experience and that all my friends, even those with the most modest of jobs have way more actual work and management experience that him and that it should scare them he was elected president! Last year before the election I was screaming and blowing a blood vessel trying to get through to some people about what a horrible, dangerous disaster he would be. They all resisted me and said I was being crazily negative and not giving him a chance. NOW, most of these same people are taking up my time every day ranting incessantly to me what a disaster he is! Ugh! I feel like telling them that I had this discussion long, long ago and that they are now boring me with what I knew from my gut and tried to warm them about from the first!!

That pretty much says it all, doesn't it? This lady thinks she's pretty smart, and W and Palin are pretty dumb...but I guarantee neither W or Palin voted for the Nobama...so who's dumb?

His associations were leftist, radical, and hate America.

Someone I work with said, prior to the election, that she liked Obama. Regarding his radical associations, etc., she said, "I don't believe all that stuff." Then she said, "If he doesn't win, we WILL hear from this man again."

People rejected out of hand the news of his radical associations because they were not hearing about them from "mainstream" media.

You can be sure that pretty much anyone who accuses GWB or Palin of stupidity is themselves stupid.

Most definitely those individuals will not be getting an MBA from Harvard (like Bush) or becoming a grassroots governor of a state (like Palin).

I totally know. Plus the media had grouped people into 2 groups during the election 1) Those voting for Obama and 2) Those not voting for Obama because they are rascist. Well the white guilt wears off real quick when you dont have a job becuase of his policies.
