I did this once LOVED it. A lot of fun and Mormon's are good people! But I was given to understand it was a one time invite and I had to have a sponsor. I would love to go back again.

I called the cannery in Mesa, AZ, and the guy answering the phone was rude and very unwelcoming. Maybe not all canneries are the same.

I think that the rules changed but I might be wrong. When they have supplies that are too many for the church they invite other denominations to help with the cannning and then distribute them to local food pantries.
