I do use the word RINO when the shoe fits.

But to suggest Palin and DeMint are RINO’s is ridiculous.

None can pass the litmus tests of some of the purists here on FR. I’m petty hard line conservative and I have called McCain RINO many times...Snowe, Specter, Collins....even the leadership when they give in to media’s pushing to be PC.

But when we start calling our best conservatives RINO’s because you support another...it’s getting out of hand and assinine.

As I see it, the problem with the term RINO is that it is so poorly defined that it is becoming meaningless. I mean is there an actual consensus by anyone on what policies a person has to advocate in order to be a RINO?
