I would like to propose the disuse of the term "RINO". Why? Because there is no such thing. That which we Conservatives think of as the Ideal Republican, simply does not exist, it cannot. A "Republican" is a dominantly political animal, willing to compromise its values in order to seek political gain. That applies to ALL REPUBLICANS (and Democrats BTW). The term RINO is somewhat redundant, like "underwater fish".
If you show me a republican who is NO a RINO, then I submit that the person is simply a Conservative posing as a Republican.

If Ronald Reagan were running today, he would be labeled a "RINO" by many on Free Republic... LOL...
That term has gotten to be an idiotic term anymore... and only used for argument when someone doesn't like your candidate... :-)

Republican is a party affiliation. Conservative is a philosophy or ideology. When people say RINO, they mean he is no conservative, but I think you know that.
