If you show me a republican who is NO a RINO, then I submit that the person is simply a Conservative posing as a Republican.
If Ronald Reagan were running today, he would be labeled a "RINO" by many on Free Republic... LOL...
That term has gotten to be an idiotic term anymore... and only used for argument when someone doesn't like your candidate... :-)
Based off of Reagan’s 1975 interview in Reason magazine, if Reagan were alive today, I doubt he would have much in agreement with Ron Paul.
When one departure from "orthodoxy" gets you the scarlet letter, we're talking ridiculous here.
I've seen unflinching advocates for a strong national defense, pro-life policies, and fiscal restraint labeled RINOs because they supported an environmental measure. It's laughable.
Is that a trend being driven amongst cult-of-personality conservatives —? Quit using RINO to describe the traitors in the R Party whom we need to expose & kick out of office? I see this a lot, and it goes along with a disdain for indie thinking and the motivation and efforts of the honest people in the movement. Tea Party Patriots and Indies are NOT going to go away. We’ll save the sorry as$es of the go-along-getalong crowd in the process, fighting them too in the process.
