Yeah, it’s amazing how many of these satire posts get serious responses. I can just see these folks going to work on Monday and saying, “Did you hear what Obama said in Ohio?”

When some liberal pins them to the wall, they say, “It must be true. I read it on FreeRepublic.”

That's the only drawback to the satire -- people carrying satirical stories around as if factual can indirectly make FreeRepublic look a little whacked. However, it's well worth the risk.

There ought to be a button, or bumper sticker, that says:

"I fell for John Semmens' satire on FreeRepublic.com"
