I don’t hate McCain either. It’s possible to oppose someone and what they stand for without hating them. Do I respect his service? Yes, I think I do. Does that mean he deserves a pass for all the many, many times he’s helped Democrats take this country down a path that’s frankly un-American? No, it does not.

If I met McCain tomorrow, I’d be polite. I’d also vote against him in a heartbeat. He doesn’t deserve a bit of our support, not one bit!

As for having some fun with his name, it’s not a sign of hatred or disrespect for his service as it is a play on his political stances. He’s called Juan, because he’ll do everything he can to give amnesty to illegals. He’s McPain, because of the copious amounts of pain he gives conservatives.

I’ll cheer if we retire him in 2010. Sarah Palin notwithstanding, McCain is definitely NOT the type of leader we need in Washington.

The state run media disagrees with you - they loved him while Bush was President. Since then they put him back in the toybox. They love those back stabbing RINO'S toys!
