This is how the television audience reacted to MSNBC and CNN cutting away from Scott Brown's victory speech Tuesday night, I've been clipping these ratings for a year and there's never been this big of a thrashing from Foxnews...Here are the numbers..

This is even greater than it appears because there are still hotels and communities where the cable doesn’t carry Fox News. Some must watch CNN by default (like in an airport, foreign resort, etc.) because Fox News isn’t a choice.
I’m pretty sure that the BORing One didn’t do so hot. Got beat by Hannity and Greta who focused on the election instead of themselves. Hopefully this is a lesson learned for BOR.
CABLE NEWS RACE
TUES. JAN. 19, 2010
ELECTION NIGHT
FOXNEWS HANNITY 6,809,000
FOXNEWS GRETA 6,399,000
FOXNEWS O’REILLY 5,228,000
FOXNEWS BECK 3,446,000
FOXNEWS BAIER 3,338,000
FOXNEWS SHEP 3,241,000
CNN KING 1,681,000
CNN COOPER 1,508,000
CNN BROWN 1,308,000
MSNBC OLBERMANN 1,274,000
MSNBC MADDOW 1,236,000
CNN BLITZER 1,135,000
CNNHN BEHAR 845,000
MSNBC HARDBALL 798,000
I find this surprising. I didn’t even bother much with FOX on election night. I wouldn’t have missed MSNBC that night for anything. The most fun I’ve had since Jane’s Christmas party.
I was watching Hardball for awhile on yesterday. Now that I see there were only 798,000 others watching makes me want to take a shower.
I turned away from Fox and to MadCow for a brief time — absolutely hilarious watching the left falling apart and spinning......................
Was she a blonde?
Greta must be counting her blessings.
BO’RE and BECK will self destruct. Their egotism is getting more than a little annoying.
Self declared authorities on all things political.
Me too. I watched MSNBC exclusively just to see heads explode. The funny thing is that even though, I’m sure, lots of people who would never watch it were tuned in their ratings wre still abyssmal. I think that a lot of regular watchers couldn’t stand seeing their broadcast “heros” cry, so they didn’t watch.
I have to admit to flipping over to MSNBC a few times during the evening just to see what the Idiots were ranting about. I spent most of the night watching FOX.
Why is it that in airports it is always CNN?
Hard to believe that many people would like to take a head-first dive into a pile of sh*t, but there it is.
>Why is it that in airports it is always CNN?
Seriously? FNC sounds too “American” for travelers’ tastes, based on what was told to me by a colleague of mine. Go figger’...
I guess that passes for entertainment these days.
Because CNN has bought the airport TV news franchise and installed the TV’s in the terminal buildings . . . they own it, basically. Airports sold it to them, believing that they were getting a real news channel, not a propaganda outlet.
Of course, remember too that most U.S. airports are government agencies, too, so there’s some affinity there.
