I was attending Columbia University and watched the various left wing studant activists spew their hatred of America and those who defended her. Even in 1964 when I began my studies, I became aware of how many faculty members were radical leftists. I watched freshmen come under their sway and join various groups such as SDS (Studants For A Democratic Society).
There was a deep hatred for authority being encouraged in those who were vulnerable to such influence. This hatred of America was enhanced by Marxist lies and propaganda. The result was the transformation and decay of individuals into tools of the revolution.
Using anti war sentiment as a springboard and the disclosure that some faculty members worked on United States defense projects, studants and allied groups, siezed and occupied buildings on Campus, late April 1968. Assistant Dean Coleman was held hostage for 24 hours.
Then as now the vast majority of studants were against the illegal tactics and propoganda of the rioters. We gathered together and shared ideas at varius meetings of the studant body. We received rousing support for our position calling for an end to the occupation. What we came to find is that the faculty of the University, for the most part enjoyed and supported the riots and illegal occupation.
It was clear that the faculty staff was in ivory tower disconnect mode. If anything they enjoyed the excitement while the University suffered.
We the studants opposed to this left wing revolution, realized we had to take a stand, because everyone else was frozen in place. We gathered hundreds of studants and circled Lowe Library. This building was occupied by the radicals and was the office of the Columbis University President. We let anyone leave the building but no people or supplies were allowed to enter.
This went on for a couple of days and the radicals called their allies in New York City. A large group taunted us and marched around our position. We knew they were going to try and breeak through our lines. Thank God the football team was on our side. We had people prepared to support the point the attack would come.
I guess the radicals thought it was the walls of Jerico and they were beating drums. They circled us a number of times, shouting. Well at one point all hell broke loose. They attacked the line right next to me and at the same time balloons filled with ammonia were thrown on us from the people in the windows of Lowe Library.
Our floating guards came to the break in point and we held. I remember battling an attacker and I held him down. When I looked up I saw three network cameras on me. That night my mother saw me on TV. It was not what she expected of her son in Columbia Univerity.
We knew something had to be done now. We did what we had to. Later that day we were approached by representitives of the Newe York police and asked if we would leave our positions. Something was going to be done to end the illegal occupation which had shut down the University.
We agreed and after playing the Star Spangled Banner and pledging allegiance to our flag we left. Later that day the police moved in and evicted the radicals. These were members of revolutionary groups from all over the city. As far as they were concerned anything was ok inorder to further their agenda. These were lawless Marxists who hated the spirit of America as we know it. They were arrogant, devious, lawless and violant.
In many ways the radicals won. The University is even deeper in the clutch of liberalism and political correctness. Marxist are all over the faculty and it was a fertile place for Obama to attend and enhance his Marxist core.
Obama takes it a step further. He adds a disdain or even hatred of Christianity and a love of Islam. To that he brings the false economic paradigm of Marxism. Then for violance and the illegal use of force he brings in his Chicago Mobster mentality, to organize the American Community. If he cannot buy them he will fry them. Obama is arrogant and surrounds himeslf with law breaking groups willing to do anythig to further their agenda. ACORN the SEIU and whomever and whatever will serve the image set up for us all to worship. Those who serve his image are payed off, the rest are punished and taxed.
It is important to realize that we the people must stand up for freedom or we will lose it. We cannot count on the system to save us. The people have to stand up for what is right and give teeth to the Costitution. It will not defend itself. Much has been corrupted and will no longer serve the people.
The call for the free and the brave is still sounding. The hate, lies and decay of Obama will fight on until he destroys America and makes it into its own image and likeness. A Marxist hell hole. This is only the beginning. This crisis is world wide and all eyes are on America.
I thank God for the Victory in Mass. Let the Light shine. This has only just begun.

I was but a wee lad in 68, but even then my contempt for campus marxists I saw on TV knew no bounds. Thanks for fighting the good fight.

I witnessed the 1968 Marxist attack and riots at Colunbia and the subsequent infiltratin of progressive lies and the further weakening of free speech at Columbia up to this day and confirm what Armaggedon has written. What a pity for this once great university.

Pretty sobering to realize that this same type of mentality and thug approach is now installed in the People’s House, spending money like water. We have only begun to glimpse how far he will go to push his Marxist agenda. This was a timely and fascinating snapshot of history. It took me exactly one visit to Columbia to know I didn’t want to go there, although SUNY was not much better.
There was a report that no one who attended Columbia during Obama’s supposed stay remember him at all. Do you know anyone who knew him there? Can you find out if he was there in body (not in registrar’s records)?
Dr. Manning says Obama was in Russia when he claimed to be at Columbia, and he has accused Columbia of treason.

There must be something offered to our youth that can inspire them to overcome their subjecting themselves to slavery under the hands of the manipulaters.
Marxism is a trinity of hate, lies and death. If a spiritual focus of love, truth and light is revealed, the young who cherish freedom will respond. It is a matter of choosing the spirit we will serve.
