Grandmother Nominated for 2010 Citizens Medal

I don't know about you, but I plan to nominate Janet Allquist for the 2010 Citizens Medal, an honor generally recognized as the second-highest civilian award bestowed by our government, according to this White House description.

I don't know about you, but I plan to nominate Janet Allquist for the 2010 Citizens Medal, an honor generally recognized as the second-highest civilian award bestowed by our government, according to this White House description.

Why Allquist? Because the 68-year-old O'Fallon, Mo., grandmother (a.k.a., "ONE VOICE AGAINST SOCIALISM") launched an anti-socialism movement that has gained national attention and meets all of the award criteria as a citizen of the United States of America. For instance, she has:

Based on all of the above criteria, Allquist qualifies.

Though I know she's unlikely to win as long as Barack Obama's in the Oval Office, she deserves the nomination nonetheless.
