people are stupid if they don't understand that. if anything Palin will make Mccain more conservative. so give Sarah a free pass on her support of him. it's really not that big a deal.

So you admire loyalty more than you admire standing by you principles?

For those who like her, reamining loyal to the RINO who gave her the National spotlight won't alter their opinion.

I wouldn't bet on that.

“This won’t hurt Palin. Will it give those who already disliked her another reason to whine and snipe? Of course it will, but that doesn’t hurt her; they already didn’t like her.
I think it’s fair to say that there is virtually nobody left in America whose mind is not made up about Sarah. For those who like her, reamining loyal to the RINO who gave her the National spotlight won’t alter their opinion.

For those who don’t like her, nothing is going to change that either. I approve of her loyalty; in the America where I grew up, that was a character plus, not a minus.

The snipers will snipe on, and hurt nobody but themselves with their vitriol. “

Right on!

Excuse me? Without McCain there would be no Sarah Palin.

I hope the hell you are not from Alaska. Palin would not be where she is today without the voters of Alaska....

And McCain has done everything to shut down development in Alaska.

Sarah Palin campaigning for the man who catapulted her to national prominence? It's called political courtesy. How bad would it look if she totally shunned the man? Much less, if she endorsed his primary opponent?

I think Sarah is just trying to unite the Republican Party. As to McCain's wrong positions on immigration, etc., it's up to the conservatives in AZ to change his stance on that!

Despite my tagline, I have serious doubts as to Sarah's qualifications or her ambitions to run for President in '12. She needs experience on the national level for that, and has given no indication that she is considering a run for POTUS. She can do more good work on the ground floor by moving the RP in a more conservative direction, IMHO.

What is with Cindy and the daughter? Do they need to be medicated? They both creep me out.

McCain and Kerry were both wife shoppers and both nabbed wealhy witches.

This is true, but also irrelevant to whether Mr. McCain and his current chosen course of conduct should be respected - Mr. McCain’s policy choices must stand or fall on their own merits, not on the derivative merit Mr. McCain might derive from having introduced Ms. Palin to the national stage.

You distinguish between loyalty and principles? That in and of itself is quite telling.

Loyalty is a principle, dearie. Loyalty, honesty, integrity, compassion, understanding, all are principles. That Sarah is able to look beyond his faults and remain demonstrably appreciative of his selecting her for his running mate takes spine and courage. More principles.

Well, frankly I am very sad. Gratitude has nothing to do with value. She could have made a statement saying that she owes him a lot and blablabla...but frankly, McCain was AWFUL with her after the elections - did not defend her at all - I even remember one day he literally made fun of her - laughed out loud.

I am really scratching my head to find her a good excuse but the only thing I can see is that if she is president and react to whom she owes something...well...our Constitution will not be protected that way..again. The next president has to be STRONG!!! And strong to protect our Constitution and America of our Founding Fathers and conservatives principles.
Either she will not run so she does not care - or if she runs, then I don't trust her anymore to be a hardcore conservatives if she fight to re-elect the worse RINO out there. It is so so sad...I fell like I lost a big hope again.

Bottom line on anything that Sarah does or says. It is her decision to make. No human being can please everyone all the time.

WITHOUT MCCAIN THERE WOULD NOT BE A SARAH PALIN.

and i wish that were the case, because she would still be in Alaska as the governor, building up experience... i just think a full term-and-a-half as governor would have been better... she came on the national stage a little too soon--in my opinion... should she campaign for McCain? if she wants to... but then those purists who support her can no longer hold these kinds of things against other Republicans... it would be hypocritical...

Sarah has said many times that her life has been guided by God. If so, then perhaps God was using McCain.

Did you want Scott Brown to win?

If so, maybe because of the “special circumstances”?

Nationally, Sarah is already toast. Backing Juan will result in the loss of an additional 20% of Americans. There will be no return.

Yeah, it’s always ‘trust but verify.’ Whatever she owes McCain, which shouldn’t be much after the way he dumped on her, it shouldn’t supersede her core principles.

I think you’re wrong, sweetie. You don’t put your principles aside for a payback. Sorry. And where was he when his people were trashing her? John McCain is all about John McCain. Think what you want, but I believe her principles about him are misguided.

Like Rush says: McCain wants to run the Republican party...oy...listen to Rush about McCain. I so agree with Rush on that one. And I am sure Rush must not be very happy to see Sarah, that I think he loves, go for McCain. This is unacceptable. Loyalty is good and nice, but right now, we have to save our country from marxists so we need strong principles. So what do you do when you need on one hand to have the right ideas to save the country, and on the other hand help to re-elect one the people who is BAD for the country - just because you owe him something? We have a country to save.

If she is already toast, no need to worry about what she does then.
