He is not the only one to think the same thing. Who would you listen to Owl Gore and the religon of global warming? I would bet that Pat Robertson does more than any other group with his hospital plane and Operation Blessing program.

By now everyone at FR has seen the complete video at least once.

That's not how I recall that particular segment.

Frankly I think it was far more telling about "that side of existence" that Martha Coakley, the Democrat running for former Senator Charles Sumner's seat, ordered her thugs to beat down a Weekly Standard reporter she felt was following her too closely.

It is insane and totally unacceptable to think that there is are spiritual forces at work in the universe. It is just so insensitive not to mention backward to suggest such utter nonsense. The President’s spokesman took a stand against such nonsense the other day. How dare anybody try to suggest anything beyond natural phenomena.

“Operation Blessing program. “

Read yesterday,,, something like 1.5 billion to 105 countries. I believe that’s close to correct. I’m not a fan, but he does do a lot of charitable work.

If heaven is filled with souls like this, please send me straight to hell.

Setting oneself up as a final arbiter of good and evil in the place of G-d is the type of foolishness that trumps anything Robertson has ever said.

Hey n00b, Robertson had his people on the ground and helping the victims of that earthquake in record time, and what he said about Haiti being a hotbed of voodoo and occultic activity is absolutely CORRECT.

And he did not condemn anyone, in fact he was encouraging everyone to PRAY for and to HELP those in need, exactly what Jesus Christ would have us do.

Your agenda is clear: you don’t like Pat Robertson, and that is why YOU opened YOUR piehole.

Try paying attention to what Robertson actually said, instead of propagating lies about him.

Your know what they say about liars don’t you?

I saw the clip of Robertson. He didn’t blame the people of Haiti.

What he was guilty of—it’s his schtick—is claiming to have a “spiritual angle” on the situation. It was in bad taste.

What he actually said was historically accurate, and it isn’t preposterous to look for the demonic in Haiti—it’s all over the place.

BTW: Has anyone heard any apologies from France for the slavery, cruelty, and general barbarity of their colonial past? If you want to find poverty, misery, and violence in the world, a good place to start is anyplace in America, Africa, or Asia where they speack French.

And the Great, RATIONAL Actor, DANNY GLOVER claimed that the same said Earthquake was caused by GLOBAL WARMING...

The Haiti/Devil “pact” goes back a long time...longer than Rev. Robertson was AROUND, I do Believe.

and Danny Glover praised: Venezula, Cooba, Brazil for their response to the disaster, but dissed his own country and promoted the marxist agenda of Global Warming. Has Danny Glover done anything for charity or anyone else other than Danny Glover?

I am not a regular watcher of Pat Robertson, but I know he does good things and sometimes says controversial thing. I thought he had said something controversial Haiti not that he was speaking for Michael Di Domenico?

"Something happened a long time ago in Haiti, and people might not want to talk about it. They were under the heel of the French. You know, Napoleon III and whatever. And they got together and swore a pact to the devil. They said, 'We will serve you if you will get us free from the French.' True story. And so, the devil said, 'OK, it's a deal.'

"And they kicked the French out. You know, the Haitians revolted and got themselves free. But ever since, they have been cursed by one thing after the other. Desperately poor. That island of Hispaniola is one island. It's cut down the middle. On the one side is Haiti; on the other side is the Dominican Republic. Dominican Republic is prosperous, healthy, full of resorts, et cetera. Haiti is in desperate poverty. Same island. They need to have -- and we need to pray for them -- a great turning to God. And out of this tragedy, I'm optimistic something good may come. But right now, we're helping the suffering people, and the suffering is unimaginable."

I'm no fan of Robertson, but I do not find anything remotely offensive here.
