Many of us have either ice fished or at least seen pictures or videos of ice fishing. However, you really need to check out this video of a few guys ice fishing in Russia. While watching this video, I ask that you think about these three questions. First question is, when was the last time you saw this many fish caught by a few guys while ice fishing. The second question would be, if this was filmed in America, how many laws do you think they would be in violation of. Finally I want you to ask yourself, when did us Americans end up being less free then the Russians?

Just to set the record straight, I do not recommend we all start fishing like these guys are doing, but it does make one wonder about the many laws we have in this (America) so called free society of ours. In California alone, the laws we have to protect the so-called existence of fish far outweigh the laws in place to protect the existence of humans.
It also makes you wonder if and when PETA will get a hold of the full version of this video and use it for their wacko purposes. God I hope not though, because it's those idiots who control the Dept of California Fish and Game. by OneVike
First, that might be a fish farm. Second (not related to the first, and speaking from experience), the concept of “throwing the little ones back” is completely alien to most Russian fishermen (at least it used to be).
These guys just couldn’t afford a trawler. Next question.
the man that invented ice fishing must have had the worst marriage in the world.
Are you telling me Americans are not allowed to club fish? LOL!
Nah, he just got hungry.
A looong time ago I was on a fishing trip, listening to a show on the AM car radio about the creation of fishing limits in California. A guy was interviewed who said that the first limit for trout was 100 per day, and his father and all of their friends were so angry over this they refused to fish all that season, because of the outrageous reduction being imposed on their catch.
I wondered about this, figuring that in order to get the concept accepted they started with a limit no one could reach anyway. But I’ve since found that a lot of old timers said the lakes, streams and rivers used to be so full of fish you’d quite because you were tired of catching them.
We live in a different world today.
LOL, thats funny :-)
What is with all the political correctness? They are scooping farmed fish and since people eat fish, you have to kill them first. There are to many apologies in the video description.
