The Missouri Capitol Rotunda played host to the states first State Sovereignty Rally, today (Wednesday, January 13, 2010), bringing together legislators who are working to protect Missourians from the Federal government with citizens from across the state. Nearly 400 participants overflowed the rotunda and cheered lawmakers and representatives of Missouri Sovereignty Project as they discussed pending federal legislation and Missouris House Joint Resolution 48 (HJR48), which would prohibit any person, employer, or health care provider from being compelled to participate in any health care system.
