Those who are obsessed with Sarah Palin will have plenty of new opportunities to love/hate the former Alaska Governor as she has just signed on as a contributor to the Fox News Channel. FNC has confirmed that while Ms. Palin will not have her own regular show, she will appear on the network’s programming on a regular basis as part of a multi-year deal and will host an occasional series that will run on the network from time to time.

The smart money would be for her to make her debut opposing the state of the union message. I would bet Foxnews would outdraw all the other major networks combined. Maybe Palin will show some fangs as opposed to the usual nutlicker responses.

My point exactly. There is not a dimes worth of difference between Republicans and Democrats at the top Washington elite leadership level. They all love on each other and go to parties together for snuggle bunnies. The Tea Party movement is a breath of Conservatism and the Rockefeller (RINO) Republicans are going to try to co-opt them into being a bot for the RINO Republican election machine. Mark my words.

The only way out is for the Tea Party movement to support nothing but hard core conservatives and weed out the RINOs in the Republican party.

I say let the RINO's move to the Democratic party where they belong.

Right on the money.

I am so disappointed in Sarah demoting herself like this. Voters get too wrapped up in personalities and forget principles. The Tea Party is where it's at! Grass roots!

I think you have been on this board long enough to know that there are many posters here who do not wish to be identified, but who indeed DO have a great deal of experience in politics, elected and otherwise; as well as many who work as government servants.

It is always unwise to cast aspersions on people, especially when you really do not understand who you are talking with.

It is always better to listen to what others have to say, and weigh their ideas; than it is to try and judge those ideas in the context of your own personal bias. This is why it is good that Freerepublic is anonymous. Ideas can be judged, as opposed to people.

I don’t think she’s going to be running in 2012 and we all may have to live with that, unfortunately.

She may be of more benefit to the conservative movement being in a position to influence a multitude of elections at all levels...2010 will tell the tale.
