Political commentators are political “cheerleaders” for their “team”. They either cheer for Dems or cheer for Repubs.

Cheerleaders cheer on those in the game...the players. In this case, the elected officials who write bills and run the country. Since Sarah is not an elected official, she would be “commenting”, and “cheering on” conservative elected officials.....a cheerleader, not a player.

That was my analogy.

Let’s wait for this to be confirmed. So far all Ive read is a bunch of rumors. Fox Nation has the story up but its just the story from the New York Times, it doesnt even have an official press release. I am also watching Fox News(Since this morning) not a peep about this

Have you noticed that Newt’s political career has been over for many, many years?! He no longer runs for office, and no one thinks he could be elected President.

The tea party conservatives are being shunted to the fox news channel as an outlet for their frustrations against the “system

Where as the "Purists" Conservative here on Free Republic would rather stand in the corner and stamp their feet about anything the Tea Party's do since they would all would rather sit on their butts and bitch at everyone about everything rather the ever see the Conservative movement actually accomplish anything.

Some time I have to wonder which side you people really are on since all you ever do is act as propaganda agents for the Democrat Party with your relentless 24-7-365 "hate the GOP" demagoguery.

How about you quit doing the Democrat Party's propaganda work 100% of the time and try fighting them say 25% of the time for a change?

Yeah, I am kinda changing my mind on this as well. At least we should be able to get a good look at her, and a good listen to her ideas. We will know for sure if she is someone we would want to trust as President.

Maybe she's decided not to run

I think she's already made that decision. She may believe that she can do more outside politics than inside. Regardless, it can't hurt her any more than the LameStream has already tried to do.

It's funny how the WP headlined their Alert as follows:

Former vice presidential candidate, who regularly rips the media, is becoming a television pundit at a place where she's likely to feel at home.

Me thinks it's the MEDIA that regularly rips into Sarah Palin and continues and continues to do so.

How about you quit doing the Democrat Party's propaganda work 100% of the time and try fighting them say 25% of the time for a change?

The Republican party must be rid of the RINO's in order for any real change to happen. Right now the RINO'S are running the party. And they in their heart of hearts only need us to help win elections for them. They have to control the Tea Party movement. And they sure as hell won't let a real Reagan republican be in the white house again.

I always support conservatism. I am a conservative before I am a Republican.

How about you quit running your mouth and accusing people you dont agree with as being a shill for the Democrats for change?

Pal I dont vote for RINOs. And if the Republicans have to keep losing elections until they learn to stick to their conservative principles so be it.

I see this like when Ronald Reagan began working as a spokesman for GE. It will give Gov. Palin a chance to develop and present her policy positions in a succinct, attention-grabbing manner.

I just hope it does NOT mean she will be dropping out of the presidential race and going for the big bucks on TV.

Oh really,

How about this then. Instead of posting on every thread hyper negative bitchy comments, you might try offering us a bit of constructive commentary about what the Tea Party people SHOULD be doing rather then just bitching about what they are doing?

Don’t like them going to Fox? Where do YOU WANT them to go? MSNBC? CNN? ABC?

Face reality, there is NO perfect world out there. Sure Fox is imprefect but it is 100% better then any of the alternatives available.

So rather then endlessly bitching about everything, how about you finally try doing something to change something?

There is a vast difference: Ronald Reagan did this long before he made it known that he wanted to run for governor.

Reagan had not yet been elected governor at that time. Sarah had already been elected to office.

I happen to think it is important for a President to get expericence as a leader; running a State, large organisation, a large corporation or even a military platoon, during war. This experience is important. We see how badly the lack of such experience has hurt the current President.

Reagan served as the President of the Screen Actors guild; was in the military and served two terms as Governor, before he ran for President. He had the experience and knowledge to make intelligent comments on the radio.

I hate to say it, but Sarah does not have this experience. She quit the job that would have given her the creditials she needed to be an authority.

One can have ideas and values, but not know how to put those things into practice. Not understand how to motivate people or any idea how to formulate and promote good policy.

There is no comparison between Palin and Reagan.

I was a huge Palin supporter and was thrilled to have her as VP candidate. I was proud of the way she held her own. But, She lost me when she quit. And the reason she quit showed her lack of forethought. She quit because of lawsuits brought on her, from the very “Ethics” bill that she wrote and pushed into law! She could have rode it out, and proven herself, if she had stayed put and toughed it out.

How about this then. Instead of posting on every thread hyper negative bitchy comments,

No I am not going to take your "how about this then comments", You sir are a troll nothing more and nothing less.

And I do not post on every thread. All you got is straw man arguments. I point out that you are troll on one and you keep trying to change the subject or just put up another straw man argument.

We could be at this till kingdom come. So unless you have something new to enlighten us all with go back under your bridge.

And while there take note that this site is for "opinions", and I don't live to produce opinions that satisfy the palate of a troll.

You are entirely right. Show me the basic difference in the GOP leaders and those of the DNC. the GOP elite ignore conservatives and will infiltrate & undermine any conservative effort that makes headway, such as the Tea Party. How many republican leaders appeared with the thousands of grassroots people so many times in DC? Michael Steele? AWOL!

Glad you have strong feelings about Palin. Sorry you dislike her so.

The obvious question comes to mind, what makes you are an expert on how to run a political career? What have you done in life that makes you an expert on this topic?

Why should we accept, as you seem to think we should, your opinions on this topic has having an sort of serious credibility?

I admire that you try to post on a forum though developmental disabilities make it difficult for you to comprehend what is written.

Though it has been posted in length why Sarah Palin resigned
at leasst 300 times or more, even in language a 12 year old could understand and comprehend, you might want to find another subject you can understand and stay away from the
your multi posting of quit which makes you look bad.

I don’t know. This could end up being like Reagan’s daily 2-minute news commentary between 1976-1979. I am still waiting to see what exactly she will be doing.
