Part one of two parts. An explanation as to the scale of large coal fired power plants and how they actually produce that huge amount of electrical power, and why it is so important.
Hey people.
I’m still fairly new here.
A few weeks back, one of the regulars posted a link to one of my posts, and I thank dila813 for that.
Since then, I have also joined up at this great forum, and added some posts linking back to articles at our home site.
I’m not all that sure of the protocols here about posting links back to our own site, so if anybody could tell me if that’s not the done thing, then I’ll refrain in future on doing that. I asked the webmaster here, but going on the size of this site, then I can guess that he would be snowed under with requests, so if one of you might tell me one way or the other, then that would answer the question for me.
Thanks people.
In my opinion, the more information you give in your post, the more interest and discussion you will generate.
If you give the title, link and little information, you will generate little interest, IMO.
The title in this case seems misleading. I talks of the importance of coal. However the link is only a description for the uninformed about a steam turbine. It appears to say nothing about why coal is important.
