Cafferty’s still an old drunk.
Wow, he ripped into Obama, Pelosi and Gibbs like he was Beck or Hannity. You know when that’s happening from the left wing media that Obama’a goose is starting to cook. Good stuff.
That Jack did this tells me someone at CNN has decided that the bowow and the dems are going to lose big time, and they don’t want to go down with the ship
I don’t care if Cafferty is a drunk and a leftist. Thus far, he is the only MSM member to call it like it is, and for the right reasons to boot.
It’s the first time I’ve intentionally watched ANYTHING on CNN in years.
If the Republican national machine doesn't find a way to communicate, effectively, to every day Americans just how badly their lives are being affected by DC nothing will change.
If it were up to me I'd go IMMEDIATELY with a resurrection of the Contract with America concept. Publish a few, perhaps 10 or 12, concepts that are critical to keeping America looking anything like her great days, and then hammer that information day and night, relentlessly. Start with the things that are wrong and mention five or six of them every chance you get. Then start telling voters how you plan to fix the problems. Specifically what you promise to do.
Honest people have always felt that “truth will out” and have too often to refuse to give a lie any recognition by responding to it. That approach works when the majority is honest, and that's not the case in 21st century America. A lie or untruth unaddressed is lie or untruth that will get traction with those whose public education has left them unable to discern reality from fiction.
IMHO this is where Sarah Palin comes in. As with Ronald Reagan, lots of people who don't consider themselves ‘political’ respond to her and what she says. There's something about her that makes her believable and trustworthy to all but the most liberal mind. She needs to keep on just like she's going, winning the hearts and minds of voters. Then, come election time her devoted base of supports will be a prize worth courting. At THAT point the RNC can decide it it wants to cast their lot with Team Sarah or run the risk of having her stand on her own.
Sadly I think the Republican movers and shakers, who got us into the mess we're in right now, are going to have to be dragged kicking and screaming into changing the way the want to do business. But if that's the way it is, then so be it.
As it stands I'll vote for the 2012 Republican ticket ONLY if Sarah Palin is at the top. Otherwise I'll go the third-party route to support her, not to send a message, but rather to put my money where my mouth is. My wife and I just watched the movie "There's Something About Mary" again, and darned if it didn't make us think of Sarah! There's something about Sarah!
self ping for life beyond the firewall
A brief moment of sobriety for Jack.
Where was Jack when 0bama was making free with a private entity, promising to use it in order to garner votes during the campaign in the first place?
