It’s easy to get so wrapped up in current events you loose all sense of perspective:

“If you’re convinced, as I am, that Barack Obama is the greatest menace America has ever faced”

Seriously, “the greatest menace?” LBJ was far, far worse. FDR, even more so.

Politics is like gardening. It’s backbreaking work, and you’re never done. There are always weeds. Weeds are bad, but hardly the apocalypse. You just gotta keep working. Sucks, but that’s the way it.
