It’s his money, he can setup whatever rules he wants. There’s a lot of interesting scholarships out there with some fun restrictions on who is eligible, there’s a bunch of musical scholarships only available to lefties. The Southwest’s biggest car dealer, Jim Click, has a scholarship that’s only available to women mechanics, and ti comes with a guaranteed job. Scholarships are all about targeting, if you’re rich and you want more X in the world you setup a fund to help out people on the way to X.
Ordinarily, I tend to lean that way, but I wonder if he could have set up a "white only" or WASP-preferred scholarship fund, or if it would have been challenged and stopped as against the public interest. If not, then this is wrong. I'm tired of me and mine being discriminated against for not playing the loudmouthed diversity game. We've been too busy working and studying.
