Video: Gibbs continues the run around when asked about Obama's promise to televise debates on C-Span. Gibbs responses: "We covered this yesterday" (Don't bother me with trivial questions!)..."The President wants to get a bill to his desk as quickly as possible" (Discussion and transparency are irrelevant to the success of this administration's agenda!).
How is that bipartisanship and transparency working out for the Obama voters? Must make them proud.

For the media it is always all about access. The DBM sold their soul to “The One” early on in exchange for access. Seems like that deal with the devil isn’t working out so well for them now. They will not be able to control this monster they helped create.

President Bush spoke to the media at least once every month or two as I recall.
