When I joined the Navy, I had to show them a social security card, high school and college transcripts, a birth certificate, and be subjected to a background check.

How would I KNOW that's true - you haven't provided me with the above documentation. I could ask the Navy, but unless you gave your permission to release those records to me, they would be constrained by privacy laws - in other words, your records are sealed.

If I didn’t give this to the Navy, I never would havejoined it. It is pretty easy to figure to be true. Try joining the armed services you will see what they ask for.
