oddly enough, when I tried it without the www, I got nothin’. Source listing showed a basic HTML page which included just a paragraph tag for the body.

One needs an account to set up a webpage somewhere (I use powweb) you register a domain name like itanimulli.com then use a function on your webpage account to have the domain name "point" to whatever other domain you wish.

For instance if you bought a domain name called pepsisux.com you could have it point to Cokerulz.com even if you didn't own cokerulz.com

Somebody bought the domain and set up a URL redirector as a joke. All it takes is a couple of lines of hypertext on the default index page.

You got it. Someone needs to do the same thing with www.natasfonwaps.com, www.tsirhcitnaeht.com, or maybe even www.yobttubsbubezlaab.com and redirect to www.whitehouse.gov.

You don’t even need a URL redirect page — not if you have a domain registrar like GoDaddy who will gladly forward your domain automatically.

Depending on the name, domains can be registered for $10 or less. If someone has already registered a name that you want, the cost would need to be negotiated.
