Listen, all you posters on this site that bemoan Scott Brown and his abortion stance better start getting it and fast. I feel the same way about his abortion position and, maybe even his RINO status as you do, but I also can see and grasp the big picture. Heck, good folks, you best wake up and realize that we are fighting for the life of freedom and our country. The country Obama and his Democrat ilk want to take us to is the country of government control and facism. Call it what you will, facism, socialism, communism, radical, cradle to grave manipulation, etc. Obama wants America to become the vision of his icon, America hater, Rev. Jeremiah Wright. And....if you don’t believe that then you have been drinking or smoking funny stuff. Now, Scott Brown is far from perfect, but he is both a man and symbol that can stop Obama and his Democrat buffoons, at least for a significant period of time. A Brown “win” in MA will shake American politics from A-Z. Wake up people of MA and get your butts in gear for Scott Brown. Vote for him on January, 19th and strike a positive blow for American freedom and independence from these liberal, left-wing people that could care less about America, her children and her future!!!!

Well said. This is MA, afterall.

Usually I would say just let the democrats win this one, but we need to support anybody who will vote against healthcare.

Good analysis. There’s a lot more at stake right now than the social issues.

I’ve got a feeling that this election will be a surprise. People are really irritated at the cram-down legislative process the Dems are foisting on us and Obama’s numbers have cratered.

A bunch of Dems might just stay home Jan 19th, as might the Independents who are still leaning toward voting Dem (just because they, too, are a little bewildered at how Washington is going right now.)

Meanwhile, the Independents who expected a middle ground approach from Obama are disappointed at the far-left result they’re getting instead.

Being a special election, plus a low-key one in terms of the present national news coverage, turnout will be important, and turnout is easier to generate if people are motivated. Right now, it appears to me the motivation is going against Dems, as indicated in the recent NJ and VA elections.

Anyway, here’s some info if anyone wants to help with the turnout (taken from another website):

>>Anyone across the country who is interested in phone-banking on Scott Brown’s behalf, please contact Field Director Brad Hansen at:

brad@brownforussenate.com or call 509-595-4683<<

Couldn’t hurt to have a few of us sign on to make some Monday calls to remind Reps/Independents to vote the next day.
