Since the RNC and Michael Steele have no interest in supporting Scott Brown, it seems that Coakley will be joining the US Senate very shortly.

The national Republican party has no interest in diminsihing the power of the Democrats.

According to what I read on another site, the RNC is supporting Brown. This info from someone who talked personally with Scott.
