Since the attempted Christmas Day terrorist attack on Flight 253, there has been much discussion of the Obama administration's reaction and what signals it's sending. The original tactic of releasing statements from various spokespeople was supposed to minimize the affect the attempt had on the country. Supposedly if the president didn't speak of it directly, then it didn't hurt/scare/concern the American people. Take two had Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano assuring the world that the system worked. Take three had her then backpedaling a day later to admit that the system did not work.
Next came President Obama changing course in the face of criticism over his silence. In his first public comments on the attempted attack he promised, "We will not rest until we find all who were involved and hold them accountable". Then he went back to the golf course. The next day he took another break from his vacation to appear in front of the cameras (without a tie and in a jacket that looked several sizes too large) to declare that, "There was a mix of human and systemic failures that contributed to this potential catastrophic breach of security."

we're safe now, muslims are good, he's doing all he can, the threat is isolated, we're all working together.......everyone had their feel good moment in this typical Obama speech. don't you feel good about yourself?
just remember, national security and our economy is nothing more than a series of good speeches. words alone fix things, just like they did with iran, n. korea, et al.

He tries to play all sides on all issues in every speech. Folks always walk away feeling good because he tells everyone what they want to hear.
An Obama speech doesn't have to make sense because it's all about “feelings,” never gets into details always staying conceptual, and he refuses to answer any real questions. Listen to when Obama speaks about the economy: He wants to spend on the stimulus, expand government entitlements with health care and other programs, lower taxes for the “working middle class,” yet cut our deficit, and yes he said all these things in the same speech! He told everyone wat they wanted to hear.
“Now that I’ve umm.. made the feel good speech umm... can’t a guy ahhh.. can I get back to err... finishing these waffles?”

Yup, Saul Alinsky wrote well. It’s too bad his head stayed on long enough for him to do so. (Both Stalin and Hitler knew and practiced his principles before he recorded them for our dictator wannabe.)
