The problem with this line of thought is that the same thing was said about Campaign Finance Reform, and the Supreme Court just rolled over.

I wish that were so and do hope that it works out that way. However, I don't have much faith in state or local legislators. ...commies/fascists, nearly all. They get half of their income from the Federal Government in matching funds, etc., and they're even more ravenous for revenues.
I do hope that you're correct about that.
