Obama attracts liberals the way that fairy tales attract children. He speaks to their fantasies.

Liberalism is a disease which retards one's natural development from adolescent giddiness about life to the seriousness of maturity.

It most commonly strikes those who have been shielded from reality by their parents.

It reminds me of the kids who see the commercial with a dancing pony and want that pony. Then they're surprised when $19.95 doesn't get them a singing, dancing life-size pony. I can't see what evidence there is that these people were 'taken in.' So far Obama has done exactly what he said he was going to do in the campaign. Is Goodwin an idiot? He seems to be saying that he is.
