WHen Jay asks him a question about who he would support for 2012, Beck blows it by saying he still hasn’t seen anybody he loves yet.
Palin, Demint, Hunter?
I really love most of the stuff Beck does, but he always finds a way to disappoint.
So don’t watch him, then.
“A great performance except for when he says his candidate would have been Hillary, that stuff absolutely makes my head spin...”
A Palin-less McCain probably would have made me think twice about voting for McCain. After all the crap McCain had pulled during the 8 years of Bush it made me think he was a Democrat most of the time. I WANTED McCain to switch parties.
I think part of that is also that he doesnt want to make waves or anything.
If he says to Jay “You know, I really like so and so” that becomes the big story and the mdeia runs with “Glenn Beck endorses so and so”
This way he steers clear of any controversy
He’s said a number of good things about certain folks in other interviews or outlets
Beck is trying to protect whoever he would support. I would be you $100 that Glenn Beck supports and cheers the hell out of Sarah Palin for 2012. He was one of the first people in the national media to interview her (several times) before she became the VP candidate.
He can't come out and say that he supports her though. Timing is everything. The leftist MSM would like nothing more than for him to openly commit to supporting a single candidate, and they'd like to know who Rush likes, too!
Beck calls himself a libertarian and then proceeds to rattle off conservative rhetoric. And he voted for Lieberman! LOL
Well, I still get “carded” from time to time, if that’s what your getting at. ;-)
Leno hated every minute of it although he seemed glad to get to the cookies.
Go back and watch his face during the Beck introduction - sour puss - then trying not to kill the applause and ratings but he so wanted to bring Beck down.
It’s a take !
Should we only listen to people we always agree with?
Yes, it was a very different side of Leno. He was not amused at the applause for Beck.
When Beck walked out, Leno said he was “controversial”...
Remember, Jay Leno had Michael Moore on his second show to talk about his movie that bombed...
Leno deep down doesn’t care for Beck...
I hate to say it but Leno is a jerk.
When Leno was asking him why he wouldn’t want someone from Harvard or the Ivy League as President I wish Beck would have said “So, Jay, I guess you really liked our last President who went to Harvard. He went to Yale, too for good measure. Even went to Phillips Andover, that school for all the smart preppies you couldn’t stand as a kid. You must have loved him”
And when Jay mentioned wanting a brain surgeon with tons of experience and skill instead of an avg guy who just talks smooth, I wish Beck had said “So why were you and the rest of the media cheerleading for a guy to become President who had zero experience, zero executive experience and foreign policy experience in anything? Would you want a guy to perform surgery on you who never picked up a scalpel in his life, but he sure sounded good in front of teleprompter?”
based on Leno’s ratings recently, not too many Americans seem to care for him, either. He’s just about singlehandedly ruiining NBC’s primetime lineup and devastating their 11PM local newscasts.
Beck supported Romney the last time around.
He may support someone like Palin this time but people shouldn’t expect it of him based on his history.
Beck saying he wish he hadn’t voted for Bush is saying he wished he had voted for Gore and Kerry. UGH!!!!!!
