I'm sorry to say that this will not be the post I want to write, but the one that I allude to. What do I mean by this? Well, I've been remiss in following the plight of CJ, of A Soldier's Perspective, due to my own personal activities (which has seen me engaged on life support blogging, in general). But his is a story that I feel is important to cover, because it not only affects him (one of the finest patriots this country has, and everything you'd want in an American soldier), but affects everyone.

DC Chapter ping.
I've been reading CJ's blog practically from its beginning. His tallies of the "parking lot pennies", Chrisisms (hysterical things his cute son Chris would say - think "Kids Say The Darnedest Things"), training troops at Fort Irwin, CA, so they wouldn't get blown up in Iraq, battling Code Pink and other leftists when he was stationed at Fort Meade in MD, and most recently the troubles he's endured in Alabama.
CJ is a treasure, as are all of our military, and to see what he and his beautiful family have been subjected to by a crazy school official, with no backup from his superior officers really has pissed me off royally.

If you have more time, you can read ASP posts further back; I am not sure if the videos are still up on the blog that show the crappy behavior of the school principal and her thugs... all over a school uniform policy that CJ was trying to get the school to follow their own rules for implementing.
Boggles the mind how the US Army would allow (and participate in) the abuse of this man to the extent that they have.
I read all those already. None of them are starting at the very beginning. All I can tell is that there was some issue with school uniforms which is unexplained in any of the links, some unknown illiterate attacked him on Facebook, and he’s taken his kids out of school. I don’t know what the military issue is at all. Every blog I click on is assuming the reader knows something already and they just blog about how ‘the story continues’. I’m trying to figure out what the story even IS.

Listening now. I have some experience with rotten principals. The most important thing is to document every encounter with the school system, write everything down like a reporter/attorney. A diary of sorts, a paper trail. I was escorted off school grounds under threat of arrest while eating lunch with my third grader and banned from the property. I got that partially rescinded and then went to a school board meeting with a handcuff on. Never said a word. I just jangled my new ‘bracelet’. And then, I got her. She was plastered all over the front pages for weeks. She picked the wrong person. My third grader is a grown woman now. But that woman NEVER taught again, much less ran a school.
You’ve got good friends behind you on this, you’re lucky. I had to do it alone, I was surrounded by chickens.
If it helps, I’ll come out of the closet. I’m being treated for “PTSD” presently. My daughter had it worse than me - reached it’s crescendo before her bro returned from his deployment. My treatment follows the onset of PTSMenopause the day he deployed and a near heart attack recently.
How dare the Army stigmatize you or stress you more.

Our times in HISTORY are changing and we as a people have to stop the insanity!! CJ is a great American and the school systems are a sham. They are teaching nothing but hate for our soldiers, and America.
