Sarah Palin’s Copenhagen-Bashing Op-Ed One Of Most Read WaPo Opinion Pieces Of The Year
Who Runs Gov ^ | 12-11-09 | Greg Sargent

Here’s a dispiriting postscript to the massive flap over The Washington Post’s decision to publish an Op ed by Sarah Palin on climate change, a piece that has been widely criticized as riddled with falsehoods.

I’m told by the paper’s insiders that her piece was one of the most-read WaPo opinion pieces of the year, coming in 21st in page views out of literally hundreds of opinion articles. An earlier Palin Op ed in the paper on the same topic was the third most read of the year.

I wonder how many people would have read an op/ed by Mitt, Huck, Tim or Newt on the same subject.

“...a piece that has been widely criticized as riddled with falsehoods. “

What were these alleged falsehoods? It’s been my experience the when libs say something is false, it really means it is truth showing them in a bad light.

What really gets the liberal elites and anti-Palin forces up in arms is that their argument that Palin is just a frivolous pretty, charismatic face whose only desire is to be a celebritard (a celebrity that appears retarded)is being shot down in flames: first Sarah Palin gives no hint whatsoever that she wants her own talk show or wants to go Hollywood and secondly she puts her intellectual, penetrating prowess on full display by first asserting why man-made climate change is a hoax and then successfully rebuts an attack by the Delphi oracle or high priest of the cliamte change movement Al Gore. The last thing the elites on the Left and the Right want to see is a smart, incisive, deep Sarah Palin made manifest to the nation. They know they must somehow thwart Palin’s road to LEGITIMACY in 2010.

Where have you gone Katie Couric? Please save us from this former mayor of Wasilla.

I love Sarah. She tells truth, and when we hear it we know she is right on in seeing the need for reform.

She is the only person speaking for actual true reform. Greatly needed and desired by me.

I'd certainly believe Sarah before dumb but persistent High Priest of Global Warming Church Algore.

He may believe what he's saying, but has no background to be a judge.

Follow the dang money. Algore is pulling in plenty of it with his sturm und drang.

Reading the reactions to Sarah on the website is nearly as good as her op-ed. It shows in its full splendor the absolute certainty leftists have in their own opinions, and therefore the total willingness to shut up any dissenting opinions, as they don’t DESERVE to be even heard. While it’s amusing on one side, it’s truly scary on the other, as that’s how some of the worst government-made disasters started. Mao was very sure he was doing the right thing, even after millions starved to death because of him.

valid or not ... the hard left believe Gore's climate nonsense.

The liberals follow all their leaders blindly. MO.

We on the right disagree about who is the best one on our side to follow.

To me they are all tainted ... badly.

Except Sarah. She has not been corrupted by Washington, like all the rest have been.

this is way the GOP elites Must embrace Palin she can get their message out to the public over the media and the DNC shills. that is not divisive that is a winning political point.

Before Palin brought up Climategate most people have not heard of it. It was being ignored by the MSM. Now with Palin the people have another opposite voice. And now the battle of ideas can happen. Before Palin it was “settled science to many” now its up in the air and becomes a political ideology battle which is what is should have been all along. The Gop elites like Newt, Mitt etc instead of fighting the battle simply caved and decided it was not worth trying to fight it because they COULD NOT GET THEIR MESSAGE OUT.

Palin can. that is all the qualification she needs for a run at the WH.
