It was only one week ago that new stunning revelations came out about the Democratic Party's favorite criminal enterprise also known as the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN). The corruption revealed went way beyond the voter fraud, embezzlement and cover-up, and the Hooker/Spy Scandal. Their crimes included a systematic program to try and manipulate the voting process in this country.
Anita Moncrief, former ACORN employee told the panel that ACORN continually got federal block grants but did not use the grants for helping the poor as promised. Rather, ACORN “used the money to fund their political machine. Poverty is big business for ACORN.
Keep in mind as the "housing end" of ACORN is a not for profit organization receiving federal funding, it is not allowed to engage in political operations. Moncrief tells of how ACORN shifted money from one to the other all with the intention of electing progressives elected, the direct connection from the Obama Campaign Committee and ACORN, and the NY Times cover-up of the scandal.
Back in September Congress voted to cut off funds to ACORN, but that cut-off only lasts till mid December. Yesterday there was a Republican proposal to keep ACORN on the funding sidelines, but the Democrats voted it down in committee. You see a criminal act is not a criminal act when it helps the Democratic Party:

The democrat party is the party of corruption, so this comes as no surprise.
The GOP needs to call press conferences and scream bloody murder about this.

One corrupt bunch of communists keeping the other bunch of communists in funds so they can continue fraud. And to think my tax contribution via the income tax is supporting ACORN and their likes really pisses me off. America is done!
I knew they would wait until they felt that the attention and interest of the public to the scandal had dissipated then they would restore funding to one of their favorite allies.
The Dims would never throw such a powerful tool under the bus.
