Per the Modus operandi of the Administration, White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs had a childish hissy fit over the Gallup tracking poll today, because it showed President Obama's approval rating had fallen to 47 percent, the lowest approval rating for any president at this stage of his presidency dating back to President Harry S Truman.
"If I was a heart patient and Gallup was my EKG, I'd visit my doctor" Five days ago there was an eleven-point spread. Now there is a one-point spread. I'm sure a six-year-old with a Crayon could do something not unlike that."
Gallup's survey has shown Obama's approval rating just above or just below 50 percent for most of November. When the president's rating hit 47 percent, Gallup compared that data with previous presidents at the same stage of their presidency.
Gibbs reference to an "eleven-point spread" between Obama's approval and disapproval rating "five days ago" cannot be found in Gallup's data. But to be fair, last week right after the President's speech on Afghanistan Gallup reported the spread at 9 % Obama's approval at 51 percent and his disapproval at 42 percent.
Gallup is not taking Gibbs childish rant laying down. They offered the following smack-down to Gibbs on their site:

I’m sorry Mr. Gibbs, under Obamacare you don’t get to see a doctor just because something might seem a little hinky with your EKG, in fact there will be no such tests at all . . . besides, Mr. Gibbs, everybody knows you don’t have a heart.
This Obama administration is loaded with dummies and lightweights. Joe Biden is probably the dumbest human being alive (Haven’t heard from him lately). POTUS Obama cannot make a meaningful, explained and understood speech. Dave Axelrod has been drinkling far too much Kool Aid. And Robert Gibbs is far from the sharpest knife in the drawer. Yeh, America, you did a great job of putting these braindeads in charge of running this great country. Aren’t you proud??????
The Obamao Organization is horribly immature and thin skinned. The problem is that they are also intellectually immature, and they can’t outgrow their mistakes. I cringe at what next year has in store for us.
