How did the hijabed Heagney get a copy of this latest case report? Why don't Rifqa's supporters have the same access?
Why doesn't the hijabed one talk about the fingerprinting of any of Rifqa's visitors? It seems to me they are fingerprinting the one or two who visit Rifqa to criminalize them. In the event that Rifqa goes on the run again (rather than meet persecution at home if she is returned), anyone who had contact with her will be a suspect. Hence the fingerprints. If they exact Islamic justice and harm Rifqa, the Christians will be blamed (they'll say she ran away with their help). If she does run away, the Christians will be blamed, too. Clearly they are making it very difficult for anyone to help her.
And what of all this secrecy? Clearly this is not in the best interests of Rifqa. And who gets access? Rifqa's worst enemies in the media. It is so sick, all of it. Heagney should be sent to an Islamic Republic where she can experience all that she advocates for, first hand.
Heagney tells us all case plans have to have a goal. And the goal of this case plan is reunification. They would like to have Rifqa living back with her parents. Now theres a few ways they would like to see this happen. They suggestmaybe most notablythat Rifqa and her parents sit down and talk about their respective religions. That her parents explain their islamic faith, that Rifqa explains her Christianity, and the case worker was hoping that might lead to more understanding of some of the conflicts that led to this in the first place. This is classic taqiya.

More bad signs out of Columbustan.
TROP bribes..
In the midst of all this hand-wringing about her forced reunification with her parents, it seems most people are missing the point that the longer these processes drag out the closer she comes to her 18th birthday, when the entire argument becomes moot - that is if she still does not want to live with her parents.
IOW, this evil librul process is serving within the law to provide her the best possible outcome - imagine that!
AAAAARRRRRGGGGGGHHHHH
Jim, how could we have a sustained FR push for FREEPING THE OFFICIALS . . . particularly social services there?
FREEPERS are good at bringing power and accountability to bear . . . but we need to encourage FREEPERS in the area that it’s worth doing . . . and others to write, call, email all the official blokes remotely involved.
I think Christian Rifqa Bary is well worth our bother etc.
Could there be a banner or some such frequent reminder with some links of where to phone and email?
This really angers me.
INDEED! SIGH.
LORD GOD HAVE MERCY!
When is that birthday?
IIRC, Rifqa will turn eighteen next August of 2010.
That’s more than eight months away. Will the poor girl even be alive by then, and if so, can she withstand the mental and emotional torture of being held incommunicado under house arrest?
We must continue to pray for her.
BTW, is the American Center for Law and Justice involved?
I spoke to the ACLJ. They said they are aware of her situation but won’t get involved because she has an attorney. (This makes no sense. The attorney is court appointed and is NOT fighting for Rifqa.)
I also spoke to Voice of the Martyrs. They said they are aware of her situation and praying for her but won’t get involved because she is a minor and because of her parents immigration status. (This also makes no sense. Sigh.)
BTW, is the American Center for Law and Justice involved?
########
As I understand it, they are not . . . because there is a
. . . ‘castrated’ court appointed atny. of absolutely no use to Rifqa.
I think we need to bombard the American Center for Law and Justice with calls, emails etc. It’s absurd that they do not have someone involved.
From what I can garner with simple Google search, 8/10/2009 was her 17th, so next summer. While that may seem a horribly long way away, having been through custody proceedings, that kind of time frame is certainly within the realm of possibility, and the time frame is never well-defined. CPS, or whatever the equivalent is there, is under no obligation to set or adhere to a certain timeline before presenting a case for disposition to the appropriate court.
I’m just saying that there seems to be a LOT of fingerpointing and blame going around, all before an outcome is determined and all while every applicable law is being followed.
Just spoke with The Office Of Client Rights in Columbus, OH.
Rifqa is being isolated. She has no inherent rights. She is being isolated from her friends. There is an approved visitation list but Rifqa has no rights to place her friends on it.
If you want to send Rifqa a gift, here’s the address:
Office OF Client Rights
For Rifqa Bary
855 West Mound St.
Columbus, OH
43223
Hmmmmmmmm
however . . . followed with a twist quite in favor of murderously DETERMINED [BY THEIR OWN ADMISSION] parents.
THANKS MUCH.
I’d like to see the system overwhelmed with cards and letters and small gifts . . . lotion, maybe even some C.S. Lewis books.
Gift cards are best. The Office of Client Rights is obligated to give Rifqa an opportunity to use them. (ie, a chance to go to the store)
AGREED.
However, If even only 100 FREEPERS sent her a greeting card every week or every other day or every 3rd day . . . that would be a big statement.
If 1,000 FREEPERS sent her even one a month—that would be a big statement.
The officials NEED to know the level of concern and interest among the common people in this land.
I wonder if some post cards stamped but otherwise blank, could get through.
