I have been avoiding writing about the Senate report that the United States Military let Bin Laden slip through their fingers at Tora Bora for a few reasons. First of all its old news, we have been hearing this story for at least two years. Additionally elections (and wars) have their consequences, the winners get to write history. While it is accepted that we could have gotten Bin Laden in his Tora Bora cave eight years ago, this report was written by the staffers of highly partisan Senator John "why the long face" Kerry, so the details/reasons surrounding the incident as described in Kerry's report are very suspect. Finally this was not the only time we "blew" a chance to get the worlds number one criminal. We could have blew him up to smithereens during the Clinton administration, were it not for some Presidential hesitation. Truth is, it is more important to destroy the terrorist infrastructure around the world than to make Osama Bin Laden a martyr.
Whatever your take on Bin Laden, this claim will make your head spin in Amazement. According to Congressman Maurice Hinchey (D-NY), Bush let Bin Laden go ON PURPOSE. This guy is nuts:

A local radio talk show host in Hartford, CT this morning said people in the Mid Hudson valley need to vote this guy out of office.
“This guy is nuts:”
Exactly...no need to listen to him.
Is there anyone credible running against him next year? Lord I hope so!
They are both channeling the same alternate universe(BIZARRO WORLD) from different points of entry.
They're all nuts.
Anything that comes from That source needs to be flushed down the toilet twice for good measure.
"The Military Leader in The US told the US military leaders in Afghanistan to let Bin Laden go."
But he does mot name the Military Leader in the US who did this! I would ask who(specific person) is he talking about?
Then I looked closely at the expression on his face as he was saying these things. The Congressman looks like Wesley Clark with a new hairdo. Enough said on that!
Being one that believes that credit should be give to those that deserve it, lets not leave out an important star player in all of this.
One of the originators of the ‘Tora Bora escape’ claim was the ever famous, loved by all, true voice and heart of the American public, a man known for his cave hunting expertise and his selfless efforts for seeking out the truth. Yes, this American Superman is none other than the famous safe cracker, Geraldo Rivera.
We all watched as he bravely searched each and every cave, while he angrily reported that our Military had allowed OBL slip through their fingers. His excited voice and cat like battle ready approach to each dangerous move on his private battlefield had to impress us all.... even us stupid ones.
Anyway, while we remember Paper-cut Kerry’s indulgence in taking the time to share his earned military expertise with us too stupid to know folks (learned the hard way during his torturous, yet heroic 3 months in Nam), lets be sure to think of Geraldo with the same respect and fondness that Kerry has earned...... and so richly deserves.
We’ve had a new administration in place for 11 months now, one whose leader once described Afghanistan as the necessary war.
Still no Bin Laden.
Almost one year, and counting...no Bin Laden.
Why is obama allowing Bin Laden to remain free?
Tick, tick...
