The author called Palin, “tragically incompetent and embarrassing for those informed on the issues”, yet shamelessly omitted citing any issues. Perhaps DecoyJames or KentTrappedInLiberalSeattle could enlighten us on just ONE issue they think will help make the author’s point.
Speaking of “tragically incompetent” — the author’s grammar is atrocious.

Typically, I don't respond to anything as snottily phrased as this -- particularly when the speaker in question hasn't even the basic FR courtesy to ping me properly in the first place -- but, FTR: my own "take away" from the article in question is that the author plainly believes that Governor Palin will run; and (however grudgingly) believes she might very well win, if so.
That the author lobbed her pissy, standard issue oh-but-she's-just-a-big-Alaskan-dummy-doodie-head insult alongside said admission(s) is, quite frankly, a beer too watery and ineffectual for any real Palin supporter to even decently blink at, really, after the past year's worth of bogus ethics charges and Andrew Sullivan-spawned pregnancy conspiracy plots and whatnot.
My gentle advice, in all open, honest sincerity: it's going to be a long, hard three year slog between today and President Palin's inauguration, come '12. You'll burn yourself out long, looooonnnnnnng before that point, unless you learn not to sweat the small stuff.. such as, say (just as a f'rinstance, like) the pitiful squeakings of an online nobody for a wholly insignificant online political site such as "politicallore.com." (Who?)
Take it or leave it. I sleep just as soundly, either way. Over and out. ;)
