The results from today's elections in Honduras are beginning to roll in and it looks as if Porfirio Lobo, from Honduran opposition National Party, is leading in the election at least according to the local media.

According to preliminary data, the 61-year-old opposition leader received around 56% of the vote. His main rival, 46-year-old businessman Elvin Santos representing the ruling Liberal Party, came second in the presidential race, with about 38% of the vote.

Even if the trend continues the Liberal party will not be the big loser today, Hugo Chavez, whose imperialist goals were thwarted when President Zelaya was ousted from office and US President Obama who supported those imperialist goals.

The next question that needs to be answered is what happens to Zelaya. Will the authorities drag him out of his hole?

Conservatives rock. The truth is finally starting to slip out to the people. Liberalism is one big lie.

The first time Chavez tried to become President for Life, he was thwarted by a popular vote. He is now President for Life anyway. He still plans for Honduras to be part of his realm of domination. Too bad we don’t have a real CIC to stand in the way of Chavez’s plans.

A poster on another threat pointed out a washington post article praising obumber for standing behind the Hondurans during this crises and his courageous stand to recognize the election even though most of the world does not. It's an upside down world,

I am so proud of the people in Honduras. I am not from there and never have been but they have been constanly attacked, scammed, bullied and pushed around by Chavez, the left, Obama and all the other thugs and they never backed down.

Sadly the majority of Americans are sheep by comparision who watch ball games or Obama’s pal Tiger. As long as the there is a ball game on then the serfs are happy.

Oh no. The first time he tried, he was arrested and imprisoned. He was then a Colonel and tried to shoot his way to the Presidency.

“Liberalism is one big lie.”

The Liberal Leftist infection is not only preventable, but curable. The Hondurans have shown the way.

The fact that the Nationalist party has won is the best outcome. The Liberal Party is Micheletti’s party, so if the Liberal candidate had won, the election would have looked a little self serving. But that didn’t happen, and now the US will have no reason not to recognize the result, which the Obama admin said it would do if there weren’t any significant irregularities.

**JIMMY CARTER AND HIS "CARTER CENTER" GET THE "ASSHOLE OF THE WEEK" AWARD**

Atlanta...The Carter Center has decided not to observe the Honduras elections scheduled for Nov. 29 because a national unity government has not been established and the vote by the Congress is not scheduled until after the elections. However, the Center and the Friends of the Inter-American Democratic Charter, with secretariat at The Carter Center, will continue to monitor closely the political and human rights conditions in Honduras through the deployment of three experts in Tegucigalpa through the elections in the hope that the political crisis will be resolved immediately, international aid can be restored, and the pressing needs of the Honduran people met in the very near future. During the mid-October mission of the Friends of the Inter-American Democratic Charter, the delegation explained to Honduran political leaders and the press that we believed a political agreement among Hondurans was vital to ensuring that safe and secure conditions would be provided to Hondurans to vote on Nov. 29, and to ensure that the elections would be received as legitimate by national and international communities. We noted that restrictions on press, protest, and movement have occurred since the presidential coup on June 28, 2009, and into the formal campaign period, impinging on the electoral rights of Hondurans. We subsequently applauded the Oct. 30 Tegucigalpa-San Jose Accords, but also noted at the time that it required action by other Honduran entities not signatories to the accord, and it did not include deadlines for implementation. These two elements have produced competing interpretations and expectations of the accord. We regret that the Verification Commission has not been able to carry out its mandate to resolve disputes over the accord's interpretation and implementation We strongly believe that Hondurans deserve the opportunity to elect their representatives in a climate of safety, security, and confidence. We therefore urge the Honduran actors involved to immediately implement the Tegucigalpa-San Jose Accords by establishing a national unity government before the elections. We urge all Hondurans to maintain calm through the election process, avoid violence, and respect the rights of those who wish to participate and those who wish to abstain, alike.

I believe he has reserved the freeway ramps at I-10 & La Cienega to sell produce and hand out business cards for Matricula document assistance.

I admire the Hondurans so much in this.
What heroes the Hondurans are for standing up against these thuggish governments and world government orgs!!!
They huffed and puffed but the Hondurans did not budge.
How many would be so strong? Amazing.

Also Jim DeMint deserves huge credit for his work to help them, what a hero!
