I’m not supporting the union. I am suppoting the availability for those that wish to organize. Like I have said in responses today, I don’t agree with most of the tactics of the union. Nor do I believe in the extreme wages that they get their employees. Here’s an example, my aunt worked for Thompson Electronics in Marion, Indiana. She made 15.00 an hour to push a button once every 3 minutes. Her job wasn’t worth that type of money.
As for my political views, I believe in free market, that is not what this article is about. This article is about the unethical activities of a company that step on the rights of its workers.
“This article is about the unethical activities of a company that step on the rights of its workers.”
A company (employer) refusing to recognize, support, endorse, tolerate or employ members of unions is NOT unethical.
It is smart business.
There are no real workers rights except those that the employer offers or the government dictates. I believe they have to have a toilet nearby.
The idea is that if you hate your work environment, you can always go where the grass looks greener.
Most lower wage jobs are not by contract.
If people want to work for a union shop they can go work for a union shop. If they want to pay money out of their paychecks to keep the union leaders in million dollar mansions that should be their choice.
And only complete morons think the union would help Wal Mart employees. They only want the dues.
