Wal Mart does it again

Wal Mart does it again. The Supreme Court of Canada has ruled in favor of the chain store. In 2005, the store in Jonquiree, Quebec was closed because of the recent union certification of the stores employees. This, of course, led to various court runs by the displaced employees of the store. At the end of 2005, the Quebec Labor Board ordered Wal Mart to compensate the former employees. (http://wakeupwalmart.com/facts/) Friday, the Supreme Court of Canada has seen fit to rule 4-3 in favor of the company. As usual

You turn to personal attacks? That’s intelligent. I don’t whine. I’ve worked since I was 13. Money has never been an issue for me. So without knowing me, your personal assault should not have even been given the dignity of an answer. But I responded to allow you to rant some more. Because through your ranting and raving, shows only your lack of a lucid track of thought.
I place no personal opinion in my columns. If you read into the article anything but the facts presented, I’m sorry for your inability to see the meaning of the piece.

Going after an answer I already gave for two days. Either you have nothing to do or you are a shill. Either way, it must be a rather pathetic life you lead. I tend to feel sorry for you. As far as calling me Troll. That’s fine. It was my nickname in the infantry. Short and stocky. Thanks for bringing up good memories of my brothers in arms.

“I’ve already given the answer.”

LIAR.

“I won’t repeat myself.”

You couldn’t. You haven’t answered. You simply lied.

Never been in a union. Had kids and spouse in NICU. Never had my insurance “cancelled”, never been fired for taking time off.

To end this. I said a grocery and a hardware. If your from Huntington then you know the businesses. As for NICU, your spouse could not have been there. NICU is for children under the age of one. The CIGNA insurance we had, had a 100,000 dollar ceiling. That was used with the birth and surgeries. The company I worked for had a strict points policy for time off. They didn't allow so much as a personal sick day for the employee. All time off was pointed. If it hadn't been for my rep working with office staff to get my work time moved to include my probationary period, I would not have qualified for Family Medical Leave. And so you get the proper idea, my oldest son was born with half a heart. My second son was born with no drain tubes for brain fluid.
So you may understand this in that grey matter you call a brain, this line of conversation is over. Either comment on other articles or leave your stammering and repetitive questioning to yourself. To carry on anymore would only show your lack of intelligence.

"I said a grocery and a hardware." Really? What year was that? BTW hardware stores seem to be doing fine now see

How is that? Did Walmart fail to DESTROY all of the hardware stores in your town? Then there is the PLETHORA of grocery stores in your hamlet - see

What happened? Did your precious UNIONS rush in and help?

Businesses have grown up around here since Walmart came in.

I hope Walmart sticks to its guns and NEVER allows the union in. My son worked for a grocery store for awhile. For some reason, the store employees were in the Steel Workers Union. He started getting their news letter. I couldn’t believe the lies and crap that were printed in that rag!

Is that what you are a part of?

Go away. Learn to think like an individual.

Unions? ~spit!~

I’ve worked in one union shop. Yes it was Steelworkers. If you look at the posts of my responses, I have clearly stated that I don’t always support the union or its tactics. The article wasn’t about unions. It was support for a worker’s right to join if they wanted to.
What I don’t understand is the heated debate over this story and the lack of comment over articles (placed here as well)about missing and dying children. You people seem to care more about the prosperity of a global corporation than the lives of children. How diluted your perceptions of what truly matters has become.

You seem to care more about pimping your blog and attacking capitalism than you do about conservatism. You STILL haven't answered either my first question or my follow up question nor have you addressed your other union drivel lie about the Marion 3M plant. Cat got your keyboard?

You are such a disingenuous liar. All the shameful tactics of the left are embedded in your posts.

Have you never heard of the S chip programs in every state? We all pay taxes for that.

You have failed to make any case for your argument, so you drag out the poor kids. What does any of that have to do with a union?

That corporation you speak of means jobs for people. They also offer health insurance. If you had your way Walmart would end up closing all their doors. Take a look at Detroit. The unions and democrat politics have turned it into a 3rd world cesspool.

My bro in law was a union guy. He was a lazy butt who smoked dope and and drank on the job, he should have been fired, but he still had a job, that is, until the union bled the company dry and they closed down.

Go away and take your repulsive “for the kids” BS with you.

Missing and dying children?! What’s that got to do with unions? Don’t throw the “global corporation vs the children” crap around on this site. You haven’t been here long, have you? What about the rights of workers NOT to join a union? It’s the fault of the unions that so many jobs have gone overseas. They demand too much. They put a great financial burden on businesses and drive up prices. As a result, people shop for food and clothing at places like Walmart where they can afford to buy goods.

Please don’t talk to me about unions. I’ve seen the damage they do. Two of the business in our area - which employed many people at good wages and benefits - were closed due to the unions. The greedy union-istas wanted more and more and more. What about the children of THOSE workers? They should have thought about their children first, instead of making unrealistic demands.
