Data used by CRU to model NZ's temps for the last 150+ years doesn't match the actual data maintained by the New Zealand National Institute of Water and Atmospheric Research (NIWA). Dr. J. So what this shows is that rather than drastically “Adjusting” current temps up then they mostly adjusted past temps down in order to give the illusion of a great rising trend. This makes sense because adjusting current temp numbers would be more blatant and stand out more. Fewer people would look in the past for fraudulent numbers. After all the past is the past.

This must be why the CRU programmer talks so much about playing with the older data. Those must be the actual programs used to commit these frauds by adjusting and manipulating the data. I can’t wait for someone(a wiz programmer with climate knowledge) to go over those programs in extreme detail. We have already heard a little, but there is probably much more.

I posted a reference to the NZ info via. Watts up with that site, not aware you already posted the whole thing here. It will be interesting in the days and weeks to come to see how many other French cooks are exposed. The cooking has been going on for a long time.
