Republican genius, Peter Schiff talks about the Dumbocrats' stupid ideas for the economy. America is simply printing more money hoping that that will make people richer.

BTTT!
What’s even better is that there are Demonrats that are starting to squawk about Hussein’s handling of things.
Yup. Can’t we just get rid of these Dummies? Frickin’ Dumbocrats.
There have been voices out there warning of this day for decades. A full-page free enterprise message back in the 1980's, sponsored by Stedman Corporation featured the following cartoon, along with a warning of the dangers of government spending and debt to America's freedom and prosperity.
Back then, a few businessmen across the nation were sounding alarms, but neither the public nor the politicians heeded the warnings.
In Texas, there was Eddie Chiles, of The Western Company and owner of the Texas Rangers. An advocate for less federal government intrusion, Chiles was also known for his 1970's radio commentaries. His trade-mark was, "I'm Eddie Chiles, and I'm mad as hell."
In North Carolina, there was W. David Stedman, also urging his fellow business leaders, employees and public against the growth of government spending and debt and pleading for a return to the ideas of the American Declaration and Constitution. The cartoon below contains the ideas of both, for, with permission, another famous Chiles remark was incorporated into the Stedman cartoon. The Stedman ad series culminated in a 1987 292-page book on America's founding principles ("Our Ageless Constitution") and is now available again here. That book gives quick, beautifully-illustrated, 1-page explanations of the Founders' principles of liberty and could educate a new generation in how to be free.
How sad that these two great Americans were not heeded, for their message is as true today as it was in the 1980's.
I haven’t been able to make hot links on the intro post when you created this thread.
You can simply add the link addresses to your next post, but don’t use any tags such as “< P >” (without the spaces)
Give it a try on this thread

Awesome, nice!
This guy is pretty close to making a good explanation on inflation of US dollars due to the “stimulus” money.
What is actually going with gold is that the more unearned, unbacked-by-asset-production-or-services money enters the economy, the cheaper each dollar becomes. Therefore, as a each existing dollar gets diluted by mor unearned dollars, the cheaper each dollar becomes. So it takes more dollars to buy an oz. of gold = inflation.
Even though gold is simply an asset, it typically leads the price rise of other consumables.
worked!
BTW, good post for a noob.
;o)
Very good point. The current monetary policy is definitely hurting us. None of the Dems in our government have been entrepeneurs. They don’t really understand money.
I have never heard another republican explain in detail why government subsidies and loans is the main reason why education and health cost keeps increasing in a way thats very convincing. He compare now to a time in history where a part time job by a teenager could pay for your own college degree. Compare that to now, which is too expensive. Why is that? Theres no competition, no free market forces driving down the cost. Why do plasma tv prices go down, but not education/health cost?
All part of the plan. Printing more money devalues existing money, forcing more people to seek government help. They need a huge dependent class to survive.
Seriously.
