DUmmie FUnnies 11-20-09 (Going Rabid: Palin Madness Syndrome (PMS) hits DUmmieland!)
DUmmie FUnnies ^ | November 20, 2009 | DUmmies and Charles Henrickson

Posted on 11/19/2009 11:05:14 PM PST by Charles Henrickson

She's the woman of the moment! Sarah Palin! You betcha! Her book, "Going Rogue," is a bestseller. Her book tour is drawing rock-star crowds. She's the talk of the talk shows. And one other claim to fame: She infuriates the Left! She scares them out of their minds! Palin's ability to connect with the American people, combined with her conservative positions, makes her a real threat. So, the liberal media try to destroy her (see the latest Newsweak), which only makes her MORE popular with Mr. and Mrs. John Q. Public!

Thus the DUmmies are going RABID right now! Palin Madness Syndrome (PMS) is breaking out like swine flu in a pigsty! Let's draw a sample from this THREAD, "Pilin' On Palin." So don your breathing mask, because we're going DUmmie, in Rogue Rage Red, while the commentary of your humble guest correspondent, Charles Henrickson, who'd rather go Sarah Palin than parasailin', is in the [brackets]:

Pilin' On Palin

[Straight from the DUngpile.]

people who can’t put two coherent sentences together . . .

[That'd be Obozo when Hal the Teleprompter breaks down. "Um . . . uh . . . uh. . . ."]

. . . but “write” books nonetheless.

[Like "Dreams from My Father, Barack Obama Sr.," by Bill Ayers.]

a political system that allows for anyone so obviously incompetent to rise within its ranks. . . .

[Like Community-Organizer-in-Chief Barry Obama.]

a political party so devoid of circumspection it would not merely allow such a person to come within a heartbeat of the presidency. . . .

[Say hello to Vice-President Biden.]

an unethical hypocrite. . . .

[John Edwards.]

has often used her political clout as a means to destroy her perceived enemies and enrich herself financially. . . .

[Mrs. Clinton.]

Even W, in his glory days, never went so far as to proffer the ability to see Russia from one’s front porch as experience in international affairs. . . .

[Neither did Governor Palin. She never said that.]

Of course, W also lacked something that Sarah has in spades – her talent for playing the role of the persecuted victim, a part that is still deemed unacceptable for those of the male persuasion. In other words, if W had been endowed with Sarah’s t*ts. . . .

[There's a whiff of sexism in the air. I can smell it approaching.]

Simply put, W, by virtue of his gender, couldn’t play girl. . . . Saucy Sarah. . . . Sarah Palin is that guest at a dinner party who was invited only to balance the seating arrangements when it was realized that the party was one female short. . . . the proud owner of a vagina – no further credentials necessary. . . . Sarah went on to become much more than the dumb broad from central casting. . . .

[Yep, that's what it is, alright!]

And.Now.She.Has.A.Book.

[I heard Joe Biden has a new book too. "Going Rogaine."]

She's sparkly and seems to have a super-power of drawing attention to herself. And she does it all backasswards and in high heels.

[Going Vogue.]

I liken her popularity here to Hasselhoff's popularity in Germany. . . .

[Ich bin ein Baywatcher.]

Never, ever, underestimate the stupidity of the American public!

[Hey, they elected Obambi, didn't they?]

I'd guess that the vast majority of those buying this piece-of-trash book will not actually read it. I'd guess it'll just be a trophy, proudly displayed on a coffee table or on a bookshelf jammed with Boyd's Bears and Elvis memorabilia, or perhaps alongside the only other book in the house -- the bible.

[The Bible! BOOO!!!!]

I believe this book is going to be the next big 'unwanted item of the year' at citywide (and otherwise) yard sales. It will go down in history next to the Thigh Master, Westbend red electric woks, treadmills and anything country blue.

[I once had a country-blue red electric wok, so I could wok on my treadmill. Does that count?]

It just goes to show you how far one can go with t*ts and lipstick.

[The Barney Frank Story.]

the "I can see Russia from my house" line was from Tina Fey, not Sarah Palin. Let's be fair.

[LOUSY FREEPER TROLL!!!]

There's an island at the ass end of the Aleutians, Shemya, that is 12 miles from Siberia. . . . Maybe on a clear day you could catch a glimpse of the Siberian shoreline.

[It's an optical Aleutian.]

"ignorant-and-proud-of-it"--that is one of many things that I don't miss about living in Georgia. . . . the example that still sticks in my head after many years is the guy at the super-sized grocery store who seemed so damn proud that he'd never even heard of the kinds of cheese we were looking for.

[Going Roquefort.]

Now I sit her trying to envision Bush as a cross dresser with t*ts.

[Is that you, benburch?]

Somewhere in the deep recesses of their dangerous little minds...they see Ronald Reagan.

[Going Reagan. Hiss! Boo!]

We do such a good job obsessing with non-entities like Palin. . . . This person, that half of DU's stories are about on any given day, is the same person that we ourselves admitted was a terrible candidate and the downfall of McSame's campaign. And yet we are still so scared of her.

[Going Rove.]

What is about these female candidates like Hillary and Palin that we can never just move on?

[And they call US sexist!]

I just call her...The Twit.

[I think you got a "w" in there by mistake.]

It's like she is saying to millions of housewives that love her, its okay you can watch soap operas all day and read the enquirer and go to church and be president. That is all it takes.

[Despotic Housewives.]

United States of the Peter Principle.

[Barry Obama, Exhibit A.]

Indianapolis Star has 30 pics of Sarah’s visit to Noblesville last night.

You’ll notice all of the WOMEN in line? That is why the Democrats must destroy her. She threatens the third leg of thier power base, and that cannot be allowed.

Very good point. Now that’s a solid reason for them to fear her.

DUmmies betraying their lack of education. Even if one is a not a Christian, the Bible has long been recognised for its literary quality. At least the language of the King James Version has been, it’s Shakespearean.

Nicely done Charles!

You emphasize the point I've reveled in for several years, namely that they didn't invent the term "Liberal Projection" for nothing.

I have no problem with taking shots at pols in power. Pertinent ones I'll even acknowledge. When they're making policy that affects you they're fair game. Within that context there's plenty of ground to plow. Go outside of that and you risk irrelevancy, irritation, and offense. In other words - you're debating leftist style.

The left wholly trashed Palin. They expected her to curl up in the fetal position (like leftists do when faced with adversity) and slink away. But Sarah is made of stronger stuff and she is defying the odds. She's looking better than ever and it is driving them crazy!

Go Sarah!

If Palin is as stupid, red-neck and politically inept as all the DUmmies seem to think, why would they want her to disappear? I would think they would be thanking Gaia that Palin is our choice. The Rethuglicans lose BIG in 2012 against the Community Organizer in Chief so keep it up, Sarah! [/DUmmie]

My exact reasons for buying the book, two copies actually, one of which I will force onto some liberal I know, knowing full well his mind will collapse and he will never read it but I will have the satisfaction of knowing that I helped Palin become independent of political pressure.

One of the many things I absolutely adore about Sarah is that she makes the libs froth at the mouth and piss all over themselves.

my MAIN motivation in buying it was to give her some money and to allow her to sell more books than Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama and Ted Kennedy combined.

Mine too. I'm voting with my wallet. Great post, btw.

I've never seen my country in a more dangerous condition than it is today. Sure, we've had recessions before but not one where the CIC was so out-to-lunch and so inexperienced to lead.

I really enjoy listening to Rush these days. Had tuned him out during a lot of the Bush years, but he's returned with fire. He smells a rat in office and he ain't letting go. A demtard caller asked what the Republicans would do about healthcare right before a break and Rush fired both barrels in about 30 seconds.

This president is trying to finish what FDR started years ago- a permanent dependent class majority that'll guarantee democrat victories for generations and the power that comes with it. By his own admission, Obama is willing to forgoe a second term to get 'health reform' passed. He doesn't give a frig about Afganistan or anything of that sort as we've witnessed.

We don't have a president, we have a spearcatcher- willing to take one for the 'team' so that capitalism can be put to rest once and for all.

I often wonder who the next dark-horse bolshevic candidate will be that they put up- a Clinton spawn? A Rahm Emanuell himself? Understand, if they get the majority they seek (along with illegals voting and ACORN stuffing ballots) they could run Charles Manson and win.

Sadly, Alaska has thrown a fly into the ointment in the form of Sarah Palin. I don't know if FDR faced such an obstacle during the depression. Had he, we may not have ventured down the road Obama wants to pave with capitalists/business owners/risk takers/entrepenuers/the wealthy, etc.

Not wanting to be labled a cult follower of Mrs. Palin, there is something about her 'outsider-ness' that is very appealing. Look at our country's ledger and the debts accruing, look at any populous state's ledger and witness the deficits looming. It would appear all the "insiders" haven't a clue to fixing the current mess as they are a part of the problem if not THE problem.

Yeah, I'll buy her book. But it won't stop there.

If these bastards somehow pull it off, I'll go cash economy on their asses so quick they'll never see what hit them. And why not? They want to take over 50% of my 'reported' earnings, I'll report less. My customers will get a hefty 30% off the regular price for cash, I'll take a hit, but not like the one the fed has intended for me. The underground economy will take-off like a rocket and those who've invested in this house of cards will watch it come crashing down around them.

Good post.

Although I am a boomer, I was raised by parents who never forgot the Depression and passed on many of their skills to me. I can live on quite little if I choose to.

I live in prime garage sale country. The government hasn’t figured out yet how to control and tax those types of sales, and I can guarantee the entire Midwest and South will move to conducting as much of their retail operations in this manner. Cash only. Barter will also increase, as people trade food or goods for needed services.

I have discussed this elsewhere, but history shows an archetype that this era may be seeing. In times of great peril, when the men are timid and befuddled on how to fight for their nation, a warrior queen rises to encourage and inspire. (Queen Boudicea, Joan of Arc, ELizabeth I of England).

It may be that Palin’s value is not as a candidate, but as one who stiffens the spine of those who oppose Obama and the left. I am not certain she cares whether she is president or not, as much as she wants to save the country. With that type of attitude, she needn’t worry about placating the party elite or watching the demographic breakdown of polls.

I believe that is why the left fears her, and fear her they do.

Very interesting theory, 'behind every successful man is a strong woman'. Sorta sexist, but could apply.

It may be that Palin’s value is not as a candidate, but as one who stiffens the spine of those who oppose Obama and the left.

Of that, she is quite capable. On a different thread, I describe the similarity between what's going on today with hyenas and lions fighting over a kill.

Out-numbered, she is taking a risk in reclaiming it. Her efforts may gain the attention of the male lions who will engage in response to the 'weakness' she has found in the enemy with her constant and successful attacks all alone. Many will get off the couch and put down the remote to join in the fray.

When male lions get into a fight, things get ugly for scavengers like the hyena Democrats and their vulture Media. Nature puts grace and power in those who possess nobility unfound in the scavenger class. And for good reason- someone must avert the tendancy toward collectivism else it eats itself into oblivion and dooms all of animalkind. Grizzly bears vs wolf pack, etc.

These powerful, noble creatures keep 'collectivist', scavenging, societies in check with sheer power. It's quite understandable that people might doubt a lioness's ability to lead, when traditionally it's been the domain of male lions who are, pound for pound, much more dangerous. But that would imply that a 'male lion' is waiting in the wings, but I don't see one. And I'll tell you why: Political Correctness/ Political Cowardess (Michael Savage).

Huckabee, Romney, Gingrich, Stan Laurel, Barney Fife, Gilligan, Barney the Purple dinosaur? I'm sorry, the male lion that'll appear will be the one that joins the fight. And it's not going to be anyone with name recognition, it'll be those getting off the couch. No one will know their names, but their bite will be just as devastating.

There is nothing to suggest that only a man can lead such a change, but everything to suggest that this time, it may be a woman. I have no problem with that, in fact, my mane hangs in the closet. Snap on, snap off. My guitar is only three feet away, pop open, pop on. Blast away at what sucks and ain't true.

[I heard Joe Biden has a new book too. "Going Rogaine."]

I just got back from meeting Sarah Palin in Roanoke. The couple in front of me were getting things signed and no one was saying a thing. I leaned over the end of the table and said, "Joe Biden has a book coming out soon." Sarah stopped writing and looked up at me. I then said, "It's called "Going Rogaine."

She CRACKED up laughing! I think her father, who was sitting next to her, enjoyed it too. She belts out, "That's the funniest thing I've heard all day!" She also mentioned that she's going to steal that one and make it appear as if she made it up on her own.

We shook hands and she introduced me to her father. If there's a pic of it on the web in five days I'll post it here.

You're a headliner baybee! Going national!
