Ramen noodle soup stock will skyrocket with all this boiling going on. I like ramen noodle soup stock.
But are you suggesting it is going to go up in price? No more 5/$1 sales?

PS at 5/$1, Ramen Soup is still more costly than shares of Salon Media!!!

Obviously someone who has never taken a course in Thermodynamics, Heat Transfer or Kinetics. With statements as stupid as that, the writer must be a student in - and a poor one at that - obscure languages of the Klingon Empire.

This is a more serous problem than most realize. Sponges, the kind that live in the ocean, die at about 75C. If the oceans started to boil, the sponges would die and release all the seawater they have been holding. Earth would be flooded with boiling water as sea levels rose 400 meters or more.
This could be offset by the land-based loofah, but the overall balance will be flooding.

Guess the old “scare ‘em to death” stuff isn’t working - now we’ve got the new scare ‘em to death - the oceans will boil... what a yawn.

Just the usual Spiegel hyperbole. Anyone taking this statement at face value must be beyond moon-bat status. Like, sub-zero I.Q.
