British bookies supposedly will offer you odds on just about anything...including possible poliical races. If I were heading over to London in the near future, I'd love to place a few bob on the odds of a Palin-Clinton race for the WH in 2012. Because it's a good chance that we will see such a race, and BTW, I wanted to be the first to predict such a possibility..so bookmark this thread...here's why
How about three with Palin/Bachmann or Palin/Liz Cheney?
After 0bama there will be no such thing as being “presidential enough.”
Republicans have Al Qaeda!
HOW DARE SHE, when the leftists favorite candidate 0bama was seeking the same nomination. According to Dorne and Ayers her campaign was blatantly racist.
Not quite, perhaps he meant Palin-Clinton?
Same ticket.
Ol' Hillary must simply despise zerO and the Democrat Party who threw her cankles under the proverbial bus.
Now, wouldn't that shake things up just a *tad*? LOL
Hillary!’s out of cash.
I’ll take your prognostication more seriously if we start getting reports of Chinese immigrant dishwashers getting shaken down for campaign contributions again.
If we survive the next 3 years, which is problematic in itself, America ain’t going for warmed over Trotsky.
I predicted in 2007 that Hilary would start a Third party - so I have no business making predictions.
I do, however, feel that Hilary’s stint at State has been a disastrous illustration of her limited talents, plus the sight of Billy sticking his nose in when she gets in over her head, serves only to show what a pitiful partnership they have.
Giving her that State job also shows how diabolically calculating the Obama team has been.
Hilary may pull a *patriotic* resignation to save what’s left of the Clinton legacy. Nothing like removing yourself from the scene of the crime.
Granted.
Then again one would have to live another 1,000 years to see another "Find Jesus" as fast as Hillary would, *if* VPOTUS were dangled? LOL
If it happened?
They'd be an unbeatable team making any political coupling we've witnessed or in all of American history pale by comparison. Yea, sure would
Y'know, steph?
There're very good reasons behind the ol' tome: Politics makes for strange bedfellows. ;^) LOL
It will not happen. Too many insiders in both parties are working too hard to discredit both women.
The Old Boys Club is alive and well in America.
Sarah is a game changer but unelectable. The sooner we start looking for somebody who can actually win the better off we’ll be.
yeah, I had enough of women in politics. Hell, they put obama in office.
She took the time to make sure it was clear she had nothing to do with the decision and offered the classic "I'm not going to second guess".
Since I can't see the economy/world situation improving in the next year and a half Hillary will pull a Teddy the Swimmer and challenge for the nomination. God willing it will result in another Reagan.
I can think of several Republicans who would dispute that.
BTW, I will vote for Sarah on any ticket. I am sick of the 'good old boys'.
Welll, it will be an interesting nominating process, that for sure.
Curious as to who YOU see as the frontrunner (if not Palin).
But the disputing Republicans are all pretty much RINO retreads...anyone ‘fresher’ out there?
Bachman has no executive experience, and we truly need her in congress;
Palin on the other hand has excellent, productive exec experience, and better political acumen than any candidate in the last 20 years.
The more America gets to see of Sarah being herself, the larger her base will become. Sarah is us!
2012 is meaningless if the conservatives don’t win big in 2010. Zero will have done far too much damage.
