For many reasons, this is by far the best book and greatest literary achievement by a political figure in my lifetime.
I strongly believe that if every Republican primary voter reads this book, Sarah Palin will win the 2012 nomination in a landslide, whether she wants it or not.

Sorry, but this is a little sycophant-ic.
I understand that Ziegler has hitched his wagon to Sarah, but this is a little too much.
I guess I’ll have to buy the book now.
Never confuse your position and opinion with facts!
My copy has not yet arrived ...
I’ll add my review after I read it ;-)
I like Sarah but this kind of starry eyed sucking up is something I’d expect from a stoned Zero supporter.
How she is actually extremely gracious and charitable to Steve Schmidt, who I personally know as a blatant liar and who really ought to read the book before he makes a further fool of himself (if that is even possible).
I find this part interesting
Actually, just last week there was a video of Ziegler saying Sarah would NOT be able to win the 2012 election, wasn’t there?
not sure, but I do remember Zeigler saying several times that he suggest palin run 2016. She has a much better chance than 2012, because Obama approval rating will still be high enough to win. I’m of agreement with him on this as well, but we’ll see closer to 2012. At this time, Obama approval number is still enough to win against Palin. The economy is still teething on the edges and ppl are still willing to give obama a chance. The closer we reach 2012, things may change, we’ll see. I think Palin will judge whether to run closer to 2012 and check the poll numbers
As far as "by far ...the greatest literary achievment" by a political figure in one's lifetime I think it would be wholly dependent on how old one is.
I don't know how old Mr. Fiegler is, but I'm pretty sure Winston Churchill was still writing during my lifetime, and it would take a quite a bit of writing talent to beat himn out from a purely literary standpoint.
It's an easy typo to make. The 'F' and the 'Z' are SOOOO close together on the keyboard, you know...
;-)
well, zeiglers in his early 40s, so in the last 40s or so years, that may be true
Good point. There HAS been a dearth of politicians who are also good writers, and vice-versa, for the last 40 years or so.
I’ve found the memoirs of most U.S. politicians to be practically unreadable.
Eagerly awaiting my copy...
For me, that would be The Real War by Richard Nixon (New York: Random House, 1980), but I may change my mind after I read Sarah Palin's book.
Riiiiiiiiight.
“...greatest literary achievement by a political figure in my lifetime.
And I thought it was bad when Obammy’s guy said he was the best since Caesar.
Actually, I think of Zero’s hordes as the early stages of the Zombie Apocalypse. . . (Evil grin)
Aw c'mon Wayne, you've been on FR longer than me.
Don't you realize that Churchill (as well as Reagan, Patton, Thatcher, Hayek, Coolidge, Madison, and Washington) were just channeling Palin in reverse, and their life works were mere foreshadowings of the Sarah Who Was To Be Born?
Need to get on message, m'man.
Mine is supposed to arrive tomorrow (from Wal Mart @4 bucks!).
Palin/Bachmann ‘12
