Breaking: NY 23 RACE MAY NOT BE OVER
Central New York Post/The Lid ^ | 11/12/09 | The Lid

Election Night Last Tuesday, with 93% of the vote counted Doug Hoffman was down 5,335 votes with and he had barely won his stronghold in conservative Oswego County. Hoffman did the right thing and conceded the special election in the NY 23rd Congressional district. Democrat Bill Owens was seated in Congress (based on the Hoffman concession) even though NY State had yet to certify the election. Among his first acts was to vote for the Obamacare bill with the government option even though he promised that he would vote against any bill with a government option.

The Central New York Post standard is now reporting that some of the initial vote counts in Hoffman's Oswego county stronghold were very wrong and the conservative's votes were were under-counted:

Why did Hoffman close up shop if there were still so many votes to be counted ?

Owens has been sworn in and can only be removed by the House of Representatives itself. What are the chances that Pelosi would allow a vote to remove him even if Hoffman does end up with more votes.

Huh... What can Hoffman do about it? Owen, the lying scumbag, has already been sworn in.

We’ll do the same thing we’ve done with a President born in a foreign land whose been sworn into office. NOTHING.

Could this legitimately not only unseat him, but also damage the Democratic Party for this malfeasance. Paint Madame Speaker Pelosi as well with the broad brush of CHEATING!!!

Let’s see if this gets ‘legs.’ Hopefully, it will.

I expect the Dems will be coming up with some more “misplaced” ballots any time now, to keep their guy on top.

Was a final tally ever certified by the State of New York? If not, and if this is a part of that process, then I would think that the House of representatives would have no choice but to change things if a final, certified tally showed Hoffman the winner.

No surprises here, IMHO. Just more DNC, ACORN, Chicago style voter fraud and manipulations. Only this time it may be found out and acted upon.

If 8,000 of the about 10,200 absentee ballots were returned, to over come a 3,000 vote deficit Hoffman would need to win them 5,500 to 2,500. That would be 68.75% of the absentee ballots.

While Owens has been sworn in, if the Dims would not give up this seat if it turned out they lost the election, it would harm them even more in 2010.

was owens certified as the winner by the NYS election officials?

We sent a letter to the clerk laying out the totals," Conklin said. "The key is that Hoffman conceded, which means the race is not contested. However, all ballots will be counted, and if the result changes, Owens will have to be removed."

How freaking hard is it to count or write down totals? Out and out fraud - I have no faith in our elections anymore.

According to the article, the people in NY told the House that if Hoffman wins, Owens will have to be removed. LOL

Everyone should go to the link and read the whole article. The breakdowns in the voting process are inexcusable. This is America -— why can’t we do elections right?
