So am I the only one that has trouble sometimes excepting post and critiques from people who don't bother even providing a minimal profile? Just asking.

From my experience the majority of freepers don’t post a profile and I don’t see a problem with that. There is no obligation to post a profile and when one first signs up on FR, it’s the first option offered. If I were a newbie I wouldn’t want to start with a profile until I became familiar with the forum. Also, once you skip that part, most freepers don’t think of it again.

They could have a profile like mine, illustrating a point of view but totally anonymous. At least they could fly their flag!

There may be people posting on FR who are not who they seem (not everyone is "nice" in this world. They could be DU members, jihadis or criminals. People are stealing identities from those who use MySpace and Facebook according to the news. Those who post consistently and grow to be FRiends eventually know enough about you through PMs that it really doesn't matter. It's a personal perogative IMHO.

Funny thing.....

Never really fought for anything. Just wanted to be left alone..and we pretty much were.

Oh, family and friends questioned our every move in the early years...but we kept on.

Once we got, maybe 3-4 years into it...we knew that we knew...we were doing the right thing.

We lived in SoCal for the first part...and OK during the last part. Could not have picked better states...really.

Both kids praise their education and our work.

And that is reward enough.........
