“If anyone has a link to a free podcast, let me know please.”

I listen to all radio programs and music via www.radiotime.com
All of the talkers are there and at various times from any of thousands of stations.
Select “talk radio” then “conservative” You can get ANYONE.

Rush is the only service that I pay for, RUSH 24/7

Rush never talks about the competition.

Hannity talks about the competition like they are all buddies.

Boortz likes to make fun of the competition in a good-old-boy ribbing way.

Most of the rest try to deal with the competition in a factual matter of fact way.

Savage disdains and trash talks other conservative hosts. He’s lucky they don’t mention him.

Savage is a mixed bag.
I listen to him every morning when I wake up.
I am listening to him now, but his harping on the Muzies
and the troop killing is getting old.
He is often interesting, but I agree, he is a bit crazy, and I do not like how he trashes all of his conservative competition.

Interesting, when attacking Dobson on the Palin video, he didn’t call them pro-lifers but anti-abortionists. Very telling considering Savage’s liberal ties.

Perhaps nobody likes him because he’s a loud-mouthed creep, who would make a rotten friend. It’s not like he doesn’t routinely insult Rush and Levin.

The real reason Savage is not supported by other conservative talkers (except Rusty Humphries) is because he is the only one who is not a Liberal Globalist

Savage is the only one of the conservative talkers who is really pro-American. He is not another one of those “I am a conservative, but support Free Trade” Liberal Globalist types.

At first I was taken aback by his name-calling of Rush, Hannity, etc. But, now fully understand why....these guys preach conservatism....but become Red Diaper Doper Babies when it comes to Free Trade....esp Free Trade with COMMUNIST China

Savage is the only one who does not support the loss of soverignty, the loss of wealth, and the enabling of Communist/totalitarian regimes that the Free Trade deals have brought forth

Of all the talk radio hosts the UK picked to ban....Savage was the one. And, it was not so much what he says about Islam

Boortz is tolerable, but he often insults his listeners, talks too much about golf and brags about his wealth.

I don’t mind Savage. He was the first one mentioning about communists in the DNC. He has made good points on his show and gotten into interesting conversations with both people who discuss about the the DNC and liberals who call to fight.

Have said that above, he is a complex person and probably is a manic depressive. I get why he can turn off people and why there is a war of world between him and others like say Mark Levin. It is no different than what is going on with Glenn Beck or with Sean Hannity.

Although, Hannity seems to be like by every talker on the right. But that maybe because he has a TV show and is Fox News’ token Republican.

I like Savage in doses myself. There are youtube clips that is put in a playlist sound interesting.

Yes, he forgets that without his listeners, he has no glory.

When he's off, he's a disjointed illogical spaz.

But when he's on, it is heartfelt, cut to the meat of it brilliance.

I've been listening to him on and off for many years. He's a mixed bag but I sure hope he stays on the radio. When he nails it it's a beautiful thing.

Say what you will, but Savage does add an extra dimension to this thing called conservative talk radio. He is, by his own admission, something of a Dutch uncle.

I also have to agree with most posters.

When I want the ‘real’ story I have to listen to Savage.

Savage rules, but he is rude to his callers sometimes when he dosen't ever let them finish speaking.

His yelling and screaming is a service he provides for many of his listeners - venting frustration on their behalf.

Many times I hear Savage say things I think anyone else would be afraid to say.

He's on the cutting edge, so he's bound to anger everyone at least occasionally.

Last night he was musing over what if the biblical prophets were talkshow hosts and how their advertisers would react.

It's a great show and he deserves all his success because he articulates what the masses feel without playing diplomatic softball.

That and I don’t care for his tone/voice, to me he is sort of loutish.

And his books are so huge, yet where is he on the news, on the cable channels (very rare indeed)? Is he such a loose cannon everyone is afraid of him.

I would not call Dr. Savage a loose cannon. He is a giant among Lilliputians in Talk Radio. No one; no one has the insight, wit, and intelligence of Mike Savage. Hannity and Limbaugh are sissies compared to Savage. In fact they are "politically correct" and deafeningly silent in dealing with real censorship and other issues relating to Savage.

Limbaugh would have to untie the half of his brain that is figuratively tied behind his back to match wits with Savage. I like those guys, Limbaugh and Hannity, but they are no match for Savage when it comes to insight, intelligence, and willingness to call a spade a spade, that is, to be brutally frank.

Savage is unpredictable; Hannity and Limbaugh are not.

I think that Savage can beat them down every time when talking off subject, that is non political dialogue. Savage is brutal when telling the truth; and entertaining when he talks about other subjects, history, books, sailing, recipes, homosexuality, the bible, the Catholic Church, animals, family. No one has his passion IMO.

God bless all of our conservative talk radio hosts!

Boortz’s assistant Royal Marshall used to have a show cxalled “The Royal Treatment” which got cancelled and replaced by Savage. I’m sure that also had something to do with Neal’s vitriol.
