He Claims that the Obama administration is with holding key information about the animal who shot up Fort Hood:"

For once, I hope the White House is withholding information. Military court isn't someplace where Judge Lance Ito would be comfortable. No leaks, no pronouncements from the prosecution and certainly no information from command to especially include POTUS. The prosecution is going to want to do EVERYTHING it can to avoid the appearance of "unlawful command influence", which would be one of the few things that could actually sink this case.

While patience is no longer an American virtue, it must be with respect to the issue of information on this shooter, or the whole case could crumble. Obama's right to keep his mouth shut - it's just too bad that it's politically expedient as well.

I’ve seen several tv interviews with folks who were on the scene, including recovering victims.
This thing is way too big to maintain a news blackout.

Republicans need to get out front and show leadership.

If it were anyone but obama, I would be inclined to give the benefit of the doubt as to the motives for withholding information. This is obama we’re talking about....

Classmates who participated in a 2007-2008 master’s program at a military college told The Associated Press that they complained to faculty during the program about what they considered to be Hasan’s anti-American views, which included his giving a presentation that justified suicide bombing and telling classmates that Islamic law trumped the U.S. Constitution.

I’m going to go out on a limb here but I am very suspicious that they are withholding information on the original reports that there were three shooters. That information was not pronounced “wrong” until there was either time to: (1) Get the facts straight; or (2) Get the facts straight and cover them up. I am very concerned it may have been the latter.

I have people at Hood and I have reason to believe that you are right.

I have been on this for a few days. The ABC report today saying the CIA knew for MONTHS (not years) that Major Jihad was tring to contact Al-Qaeda and his old imam should have raised huge red flags for the MSM.

Did the Obama Admin CHANGE any policies in dealing with domestic terrorists like this guy? Did the CIA turn the other way because when Panetta came aboard he, Pelosi, and Obama threw the rank and file agents under the bus with their torture investigation?

I suspect the CIA let this guy go on because they were afraid of blow back if thet acted and had no solid terrorism proof. They KNEW Panetta and Obama would come down hard on them and did not risk their careers. It is called ‘risk aversion’ and is exactly what many predicted would be the outcome of Pelosi saying the CIA lied, and Obama investigating them for torture.

"I would be inclined to give the benefit of the doubt as to the motives for withholding information. "

I'm not giving him, nor the Army the benefit of the doubt as there is no question there will be embarrassing information that will come out of this investigation, and Obama, the SecDef and HQDA won't want it to come out. But, I'm thinking long term. Obama will be well out of office when this case is on appeal. UCI is one of the things that could sink this case on appeal years from now. In the interest of justice, it's best that everyone just keep their mouths shut until after the trial.

There was a report that some guy was arrested at a golf course later that day. Witness saw it. Never heard a single thing about that since then.

Of course, I can’t read every comment on every thread!

But not a mention of that have I seen.

Witness - in the military - was at the golf course and bunches of MPs showed up and arrested a man in uniform who was taken away arms above his head. No mention of appearnce other than that.

Problem for the Obamistas is that two of their number are the WarshPost reporters (Dana Priest and Anne Hull) who most likely were relying on Hasan back in 2007 as their primary source for their Walter Reed stories.

If the Obamistas reveal that angle (which could be revealed right quick by any smart analyst) they'd end up with the WarshPost tossed under the bus.

So, which is it that comes out on top in Obama world ~ that terrorists face justice, or that face be saved, justice be damned.

I suspect Obama cares more about "face" than action every single time.

Soldiers were not carrying lives rounds on base.

Make that they're not supposed to be carrying.

Me too. I know these situations can be extrememly chaotic, so perhaps what I’ve heard is absolutely wrong. One shooter is bad enough.

For once I agree with the late Sen. Ted Kennedy (Chappaquiddick - MA):

Ask Obama

And *this*, my friends, is why the "natural-born citizenship" thing is so important. "To the Muslims, I will blow them, should the political winds shift in an ugly direction" /sarc>
