It’s nice to believe, but is not the Democrat’s death march. YES - they have alienated a lot of independents and motivated conservatives, but Democrats have a year to organize the ACORNS, SEIU’s, and NARALS of the USA. They have a year to use the friendly state-run media to spin this as they like. Regardless of the outcome, they will have a story to spin that the loyal kool-aid drinkers will follow.

2010 will give us change, but will it be big enough to make a difference???

This article is right on the money - only if the Republicans decide to become constitutionalists again - like they were before the Civil War

Here is my message to Senator John Kerry D-MA (who is a loser and doesn’t listen to his constituents), but I gave it my best!

This health care legislation that is being considered in the Senate is unconstitutional. When you took office, you took an oath to uphold the Constitution and I am calling you on that commitment.

Read the Constitution again! You work for the people and you have committed yourself to this end. Vote NO on this health care legislation. My family and I will be watching your vote. I have a clan of 45 relatives all living in your district and not one of them are for this health care passage. Many have participated for the first time in their lives including myself in any movement relating to our government proceedings. We have woken up and will vote out anyone that votes for this passage.

I will also add that my husbands family of 18 of which only 2 can’t vote will also vote out a YES vote. Now is the time to decide on whether you will vote to keep your oath to the Constitution or vote against it. We will take this all the way to the courts if passed! It will be a bumpy ride, but I will fight the fight as my ancestors did.

VOTE NO on this abomination of a health care plan.

Signed and sealed with my name and address - even gave them a telephone number.

When a situation presents itself as "We can do it, if the GOP...", it's never a good thing.

Dark, dark days ahead, folks.

This will not hurt them because this vote was done now exactly to help preserve their majority. All of the Democrats defections who voted “No” are 40 Conservative Democrats in Red districts who will not be able to be tagged with support of Obamacare. It’s pure strategy on the part of the idiot rats. The few who voted “Yes” from Red districts will just be sacrificed for the cause.

I’m surprised that there enough of them sober enough to make a quorum that late at night on a weekend.

“Pelosi begins Democrat 2010 Death March over HealthCare”

Believe it or not...I learned more about the funding scheme of Pelosi’s
plan on National Public Radio than I did on cable TV News.

Michael Steele tried to explain it, but a better explanation of
the funding hijinks of the Pelosi Plan was presented on NPR this morning.

What it boils down to is this:

1. As soon as Pelosi’s plan would be enacted: taxes (income) for
the plan would be collected

AND

2. The real benefits from the Pelosi Plan wouldn’t kick in until
FOUR YEARS after the start of collecting taxes/revenues for the plan.

IN other words:
Pelosi’s plan for the first 10 year...
Means TEN YEARS of TAXES/REVENUES...
to fund SIX YEARS of benefits.

Surely this sort of accounting mendacity (LIES) would get a free-enterprise
accountant a nice term in jail with Jeff Skilling (Enron).

OK, I’m probably being over-optomistic about that.
